INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE PROGRAMME EXAMINATION CREDIT
Students who enroll at Grand Canyon University may
receive credit for IB exams as shown in the table. Students
may transfer a total of 30 credits from all alternative
transfer credit options (such as AP, IB and CLEP) combined.
The application of credit toward your degree will depend
upon IB exam scores, other potential transfer credits
submitted to the university and your intended program of
study. Please speak to an admissions representative to find
out how your IB exam credit will count toward your proposed
degree program.
**GCU operates on a four credit system. If an IB three (3) credit equivalency transfers and takes the place of a required four credit GCU course (e.g., IB English takes the place of ENG105), the remaining credit can be fulfilled through elective coursework.
For more information about our graduation rates, the median debt of students who completed the program, and other important information, please visit our website at gcu.edu/disclosures.
