437B Power Meter

SERIAL NUMBERS

Attached to the rear panel of the instrument is a serial number plate. Theserial number is in the form: 0000A00000. The first four digits and the letterare the serial number prefix. The last five digits are the suffix. The prefix is thesame for identical instruments; it changes only when a configuration change ismade to the instrument. The suffix, however, is assigned sequentially and isdifferent for each instrument.

This manual applies to instruments with serial numbers prefixed 2801A or2801U and above.
