4 Product Description

The powerful and sound insulated extraction unit Zenotec cyclon can be easily integrated within the laboratory and is quiet and low

in maintenance. The cyclonic technology conserves the filter and the milling dust generated can be easily disposed of by emptying the

dust drawer.

4.1 Types of filters

4.1.1 Prefilter

The filter apparatus is equipped with a Z-line filter (F6). By changing the prefilter on

a regular basis, the service-life of the subsequent main filter (suspended particle

filter) will be significantly increased. At the latest, the prefilter must be changed when

the main filter is replaced.

4.1.2 Main filter

The main filter (fine dust filter H13) ensures that more than 99.95 % of the

extracted fumes and dust particles remain in the filter (according to DIN EN 1822).

This also applies when the filter insert is either full or partially saturated. As the

saturation level increases however, the suction performance will decrease.
