OPaL at PlastIndia 2018

The 10th edition of Plastindia 2018 was organised from 7th Feb-12th Feb at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, Chief Minister, Gujarat, in the presence of Dr J. N. Singh, Chief Secretary, Gujarat, Shri Avinash Joshi, IAS, MD-OPaL, Shri Parindu K Bhagat, Ind. Director, IOCL, Shri Saurabhbhai Patel, Energy Minister, Government of Gujarat, Pujya Bhai Shri Ramesh Oza, Founder, Sandipani Vidyaniketan & Hindu spiritual leader and other dignitaries of PlastIndia at Gandhinagar. Innovation-led pavilions were a key highlight at the 10th PLASTINDIA. The 3rd largest international exhibition in the world witnessed exhibitors coming from North America, Europe, South America, Middle East, South East Asia and with over 1800 exhibitors of Machinery, Raw materials, Ancillary equipment and finished goods.

The exhibition represented the best of man’s growth in the plastics community and successfully showcased the future of Plastics industry. OPaL participated at Plastindia 2018 and successfully epitomised the organisations quest for all round growth. OPaL’s elegantly designed booth was inaugurated by Shri. Saurabhbhai Patel, Energy Minister, Government of Gujarat. The magnificent OPaL’s stall with ambient space and apt product display grabbed visitors attention and generated a remarkable foot fall during the exhibition. Senior officials and a large number of employees from OPaL also attended this mega exhibition.

OPaL’s stall was visited by the Police Commissioner of Vadodara Shri. Manoj Shashidhar. Shri Avinash Joshi, IAS, MD-OPaL and Shri. Makarand Dixit, Head Marketing, OPaL welcomed him with a bouquet of flowers.

A vibrant display of products at the stall engaged customers, guests and visitors and gave a clear idea about products manufactured by OPaL’s polymer grades.

Every individual query of the guest was resolved effortlessly by OPaL executives. Students who visited OPaL’s stall took a keen interest in knowing OPaL’s products and understanding the science of polymers. They were fortunate enough to get an opportunity to directly interact with OPaL’s President Shri. Manoj Kumar Srivastava who patiently, listened to them and quenched their curiosity.

OPaL executives took a keen interest in giving insights about the industry to the visitors and briefed them about polymers and the science behind it.

For the first time the exhibition was also attended by employees from plant. Shri Lalitesh Kumar, Head-CTS, Shri Arup Jhampri, Head- Cracker, Shri Asit Baran Karmakar, Head-Material Management and Shri Srinivasa Rao Choppalli, Head-Polymers, visited OPaL’s stall and encouraged the participation of people in the exhibition.

For people’s engagement the stall had a provision for dart game. Students, visitors, and employees had a ball at the stall aiming the bull’s eye and claiming the highest score.

The grand Plastindia exhibition was an overall success, team OPaL will look forward to showcase OPaL’s prowess in next PlastIndia.
