Living in Space.Outer space offers infinite possibilities. Come and discover this terrain and its technological challenges in terms of people and materials. Life on Mars is closer to becoming a reality – what technical textiles will be required? “Living in Space” is a breathtaking themed space within Techtextil, featuring realistic prospects and opportunities for the whole sector. We explore the furthest reaches of textile appli-cations. Whether for heat shields, geotextiles for interstellar vegetable growing, or highly functional spacesuits, we provide real-world examples.
