How the DriverEdToGo Course Works

Read-Along Feature

The DriverEdToGo course consists of 16 chapters. Each chapter contains educational content, interactive exercises, streaming video, and various driving simulations that work together to teach teens both the rules of the road and how to drive. Each chapter contains a quiz that tests student understanding and retention of the chapter material. A comprehensive final examination is administered at the conclusion of the course to assess student understanding of all course material.

DriverEdToGo contains a read-along feature that allows students to listen to the course text read aloud as they follow along. The read-along feature qualifies as an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant resource, as it aids students who may have a visual impairment or a learning disability.

Interactive Drills and GamesDriverEdToGo has a variety of interactive drills and video games designed to reinforce key course material. These helpful learning tools were created by driving-safety professionals and e-learning experts with extensive experience in educational game creation.

Pictured above is another popular game called “So You Think You Can Drive,” which puts students behind the wheel of a virtual car with a driving instructor. Students must pass a series of driving tasks, which become more difficult with each level of play.

Our proprietary PrepWizard software prepares students to pass the DMV written exam on their first attempt. This revolutionary testing software contains hundreds of authentic DMV questions displayed in four modes: Assessment ModeTM, Specialized ModeTM, Intense ModeTM, and Exam ModeTM. In Assessment Mode, the student takes a practice exam and receives a detailed diagnostic score report that pinpoints strengths and weaknesses. PrepWizard then adapts its questions to focus on identified areas of weakness to fully prepare students for the actual DMV exam.

ASSESSMENT MODEThis is the first step in your exam preparation. Once you have completed an entire set of questions you will get a detailed diagnostic score report that lists your strengths and weaknesses.

SPECIALIZED MODEThis section is one of your greatest tools. Here, Prep Wizard™ will strengthen your overall performance on exams by giving you short quizzes in your areas of weakness.

INTENSE MODEThis section prepares you to take a full-length exam. Here you will take a full-length exam while we keep track of your time. If you miss too many questions or if your time exceeds the allotted time, you will keep taking the exam in Intense Mode until you improve your accuracy and speed.

EXAM MODEYou are ready to take the exam under simulated exam conditions. You will have three hours and fifteen minutes to answer 150 questions of each exam. We recommend that you take as many exams as necessary in Exam Mode until you consistently score 80% or higher on these practice exams.

DriverEdToGo will pay part of the students’ fees to the school for its administration and implementation of this program into its curriculum.

1. We can create a branded registration portal, which may be linked to your school’s website. We give the school access to the portal containing all student information. Designated school personnel have access to a secure administrative dashboard, which enables them to view a student’s registration details, progress, and activities. This feature provides the administrator with full access to a student’s footprint. Each footprint displays detailed information about the student, such as how long he or she spent reading each chapter, watching each video, and viewing each simulation. Detailed results of a student’s performance on each quiz and final examination are also provided.

2. If your school’s driving education program does not have a website, your school can direct students to our website, where students can register for the driver education course.
