ONEVOICEOneVoice is the flagship ensemble of the vocal jazz program at Millikin University. The group has been invited to perform at various educational conferences and collegiate jazz festivals in the United States including the American Choral Director’s Association (ACDA) international convention [2008], Jazz Educator’s Network [2012], ACDA Central Division Conference [2002 & 2012], IAJE international convention in New York City (2001) and San Diego (1989), and four times at the Illinois State Music Educator's Association state conference in Peoria. The group has traveled and performed in the Dominican Republic four times and most recently in Santiago, Chile. Over the years, OneVoice has consistently been recognized as one of the premier collegiate vocal jazz groups in the United States. This past Spring, OneVoice received its fourth DownBeat Magazine Student Music Award.

Steve Widenhofer is Director of the School of Music at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Widenhofer is active as a guest clinician/conductor throughout the midwest and has directed numerous Illinois Music Educator’s Association District Jazz Choirs as well as the All-State Honors Jazz Choirs from Illinois [1998], Wisconsin [2002], Iowa [2008], and Indiana [2012]. He holds undergraduate and masters' degrees from Ball State University and the Doctor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Widenhofer is also on the music sta� at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Decatur and performs regularly as pianist with the Millikin Faculty Jazz Group.
