oN miss ioN together for the Nat ioNs,

N e i g h b o r h o o d s a N d N e x t g e N e r at i o N

Church is more than a place, a name, a building or a program. it is a movement. itis a movement of people loving god, loving each other and living life together onhiskingdom mission.

our hope is that everyone who calls grace home will be part of this movement. andYes –that includes you! in this catalog we hope you will find opportunities to connectand that it will help you meet some amazing people whoare a part of this movement. We invite you to be resourced and equipped alongside others, and released back onmission together. and we want this because our heart for you is not that you justget swept up or touched by grace Church, but that you become an integral part of it.

because we care about your connection, crises and personal growth, we have designed four primary ways that you can become part of this grace movement:

Classes: Classes are designed to come alongside you in your walk with god andhelp you continue to grow. through a healthy combination of teaching, training andtactics, our Core Classes will empower you to know god, know yourself and knowyour world in a way that will help you embrace the life that god intends for you, while also becoming a formidable force of wisdom and power to those around you.

Care Groups:Care groups are created to help you through critical or difficult stagesof life. in these groups our hope is that you will find the pastoral help you need toweather your current crisis or prepare you for your next transition.

Communities: Communities are mid-size groups that function together as anextended missional family. this is where the life of Christ is fleshed out throughthe real life-on-life pattern of Jesus. through practices like story-telling and sharingmeals together, spiritual family is formed. missionally these groups function toreach a certain network or neighborhood, in a way that is both fun and normal.

Coaching:Life Coaching opportunities for individuals and small groups is availablethrough our adult ministry team. Personalized coaching works through specificaspects of Core Content and disciple-making language as determined by theCoach. times and processes are customized to individuals and groups, so datesand times are scheduled personally. to schedule coaching, contact [email protected].

We believe that being part of the grace community is both a fantastic opportunityand an incredible responsibility. that’s because we want to be people who livelives that matter. because of that, we hold ourselves and each other accountableto a certain way of life – a way of life we refer to as the extraordinary Normsof grace. Now, we know all of our lives will move in lots of different directionsand take all kinds of different forms, but we hope that all of us can put theseextraordinary Norms into practice in any and every circumstance. these fivecommitments are at the core of making the extraordinary life of Christ flourishin every arena.

Living out the Extraordinary Norms of Gracemeans we desire to:

1. hear the voice of god and act on it.2. grow in our ability to reflect the character and competency of Jesus.3. Live with a strong sense of identity and calling.4. Participate in and eventually lead a missional family.5. help someone else do the same.

for ongoing communication about these extraordinary Norms and how to takeadvantage of opportunities that make this life normal, we encourage all adultsto join our weekly text messaging service by following the instructions below.

1. text the word LiNK to (770) 809-61772. tap the link that is texted back to you3. enter your name, cell number and carrier, then on click the

MAKING THEEXTRAORDINARY

NORMAL IN YOUR LIFE

the truth is that none of us can live these extraordinary Norms of grace(much less the dynamic life that god has called each of us to) on our own.We need the help of others. to this end, the adult ministry team has

developed CORE content and training initiatives that help us put these five Norms into practice.at the center of the diagram below, you will see COMMUNITIES because we are convinced thisway of life is really only possible within “extended families” of people on mission together.around COMMUNITIES, we have placed three triangles that act like scaffolding to support andsustain your growth in each extraordinary Norm. When we understand and integrate our IDENTITY,our INVESTMENTS, and our INTERACTIONS, we can holistically step into all that god has for us.

IDENTITY: identity classes center their learning around helping each of us discover who we are,who god is, what god is doing in the world, and how each of us is gifted to be part of that work.our Core identity Classes include Younique, Listening Prayer, and The Story of God.

INVESTMENT: investment classes help us maximize our lives by growing our resources, or “capitals”in each of five key areas: spiritual, relational, Physical, intellectual and financial. We then learn toinvest, share, and multiply these capitals with and for others. our Core investment Classesinclude The Five Capitals, Discipleship 101, Ventures in Oneness, and Financial Peace University.

INTERACTION: interaction classes are built to help us awaken to the opportunities and needsin our neighborhoods and in our world. We want to learn to recognize where Jesus is at work sothat we might join him in bringing the peace, healing, and salvation of his Kingdom into ourbroken but beautiful world. our Core interaction Classes include Jesus and the Qur’an, Familyon Mission, and The Way of the Kingdom.

CL0300 Ventures in Oneness Core Intensive ▲ COST: $25in scripture, marriage is sacred. it is the highest form of covenantal relationship in whichtwo people become one flesh – solidified in unity, intimacy, direction and pursuit. in fact, theapostle Paul uses the marriage bond as a metaphor for the unbreakable relationship betweenChrist and his church. Unfortunately, however, what we read so easily in scripture isn’t alwaysas easily lived out in real life. in a world where 1+1 = 2, not just in basic math but in basicmarriage, Ventures in oneness invites all of us into the brave new world of covenantalcompanionship where together we will find what life might look like when 1+1 become 1.(This is a Core Class. CL0304 The Way of the Kingdom Core Intensive ▲ COST: $25for far too long, living a life on mission has been confined to people called missionaries: peoplethat the church sends to spread the Kingdom of god throughout the world. but what if all ofus started seeing ourselves as Kingdom ambassadors right where we live, work and play?this Core content class helps make missional life the norm for all of us, because if the worldis going to change, it will take every Christian learning to live life as Kingdom ambassadors.(This is a Core Class. Limited to first 40 registered.)GATHERINGS: friday & saturday, december 2-3, 2016, snellville campusLEADERS: Grace Team, [email protected]
