SALE NOTES

Peter Hughes has been involved with numerous civil engineering, building and draining projects in his lifetime including major deep drainage works on motorways and engineering works at Stanstead airport, more recently he has been involved in building projects around Coventry. Having grown up on his family farm in Ireland, for many years he combined these interests with a passion for livestock. In 1989 he purchased a Pedigree Charollais herd which he farmed at Berkswell until the national BSE outbreak. When he finished his farming enterprise, he altered his buildings to accommodate his interest in horses.
