December, 17, 1970.• The flag uses red,
white, and green.• White means peace.• Red is a traditional
color in Arab countries and also means the attacks on invaders.
• Green means verdant mountains and fertile ground.
• The totem on the upper left is a national emblem of Oman.
• It means Oman will spare nothing to defend their sovereign rights and independents.

• Oman treats their guests in good faith.
• They always greet strangers on their own initiative and even invite guests to their home.

• Most of women like gold and silver, and they love big flowers.

• Oman, located at the southeast corner of the Arabian plate, is being pushed slowly northward, as the Red Sea grows wider.
• The lofty Al Hajar Mountains(哈賈爾山脈 ) and the drowned valleys of Musandam are dramatic reminders of this.
Climate(氣候 )
• The country’s climate, like its topography(地形 ) is diverse, with humid coastal(沿岸的 ) areas and a hot, dry desert interior.
