Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Class III firearm? Any firearm with an automatic fire control system (i.e. select fire and full auto) or any firearm with a barrel length less than 16”. Firearms with barrels of 6.5” or less that do not have a buttstock are considered pistols and are not Class III.

Who can purchase Class III firearms? Individual Officers cannot purchase Class III firearms. Only Law Enforcement Agencies who have gone through proper paperwork processes with the Government and Olympic Arms can purchase Class III firearms.

What is the pricing level for Departmental Purchases? FOR COMPLETE FIREARMS: Law Enforcement Agencies are entitled to our current dealer pricing level less Federal Excise Tax (FET). FOR KITS & PARTS: Law Enforcement Agencies will receive current retail pricing and 20% discount.

What is the pricing level for Individual Officers? FOR ALL PRODUCTS: Individual Officers who order through an Olympic Arms Dealer or Olympic Arms Direct are entitled to a 10% discount off current retail pricing levels. Active Military and Law Enforcement members who walk in our front door and order in person are entitled to a 20% discount off current retail pricing levels.

What is a top end kit (upper receiver kit)? A top end kit is a complete, assembled, head-spaced and test fired upper receiver unit. This is very useful if you already have a mil-spec lower receiver (even if from another manufacturer) because our top end kits can be joined with your lower receiver to make a complete firearm. Almost every AR15 we make can be ordered as a top end kit, just add “UR” to the model code (i.e. K9-UR, K3B-UR, K8-UR).

I see “N/A” in place of some prices, what does that mean? That means the item is not available for purchase. For example some products are not available for individual officer purchase. In other cases the product may not be available as a top end kit (i.e. K9-GL and OA-93).

I see “N/C” in place of some prices, what does that mean? That means the item is free of cost. Some upgrades, for example, will not cost extra (i.e. flat top upper option).

What is the actual Departmental price for a complete firearm? The prices listed for complete firearms under “Departmental Purchase” and “Departmental Options” sections reflect the actual price. This actual price for Departmental Pruchase is our current Dealer Pricing Level minus Federal Excise Tax. Also included are pricing breaks for multi-unit pruchases.

How To OrderThe purchase of Law Enforcement Only (LEO) firearms is restricted by law. Federal regulations require specific paperwork for both Departmental (Dept.) and Individual Officer (Indv.) orders. To ensure that all documentation is provided with each order, we recommend that you speak with our Law Enforcement Representative for details.

Please be advised that LEO orders cannot be processed until all required paperwork (purchase orders, letterheads with original signatures, etc.) is on file with us at the manufacturing facility.

Shipping & Handling FeesAll shipping and handling fees are billed on a flat rate scale based on the total dollar amount of each invoice. This does not include freight (i.e. LTL) or express (i.e. UPS Blue/Red Label) shipping services. Each separate box required for shipping, will be shipped via a separate shipping invoice. Shipping and handling charges are taxable to Washington State residents.

The scale for determining S&H charges is: $0.01 - $99.99 .... $8.95 $100.00 - $499.99 .... $15.95 $500.00 - $999.99 .... $21.00 $1000.00 & Up .... $28.00 COD .... $8.25 extra per invoice

Methods of PaymentDepartmental and Governmental Purchases are billed NET 30. Individual Officer purchases must be paid upon delivery.

We will accept COD, credit card or pre-paid orders from individual officers. All COD orders will be shipped on a certified-funds-only basis. We accept most major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover). Your account will not be billed until your order is shipped.

Pre-paid orders are accepted, however, orders paid by personal checks or company checks may be held until funds clear the bank. This process could delay your order as much as 10-14 business days. All orders from within the State of Washington will be charged the current sales tax rate (7.8% at time of printing) unless a Washington State Department of Revenue Resale Certificate is on file with us. Open accounts are not offered to individual officers.

ReturnsPlease call to determine if a Return Authorization Number is required before you return any product to us. Returns must first be cleared with our Customer Service Team.

NO CLASS III RETURNS OR REPAIRS CAN BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION AND PROPER ATF TRANSFER. ALL UNAUTHORIZED CLASS III RETURNS OR REPAIRS WILL BE REFUSED.

Warranty/RepairAll returns for Warranty Repair are to be shipped to the Returns address. Determination as to whether the problem with the returned item is covered under the factory warranty will be made after it is inspected by the technical staff of Olympic arms, Inc. Our technical staff is the only department qualified to make this determination. Please do not make any assumptions.

Restocking FeeAl refused or returned shipments without prior authorization are subject to payment of all shipping charges incurred by Olympic Arms, as well as a 15% restocking fee. Please be sure to call for a product evaluation before you return any product to us. This could save you both time and money.

FX marking cartridges provide realistic training with recoil and noise, but without the dangers of live ammunition. Colored marking compounds are detergent-based, water washable and non-toxic. The delryn punch is great for popping out the takedown and pivot pins that connect the upper and lower receivers. Dual slot vise jaw blocks are machined from aluminum to accommodate both standard and heavy contour barrels; but will not accommodate bull barrels. To securely hold your upper receiver in a vise without damaging it, we recommend our armorer’s block kit. Poly insert included to prevent receiver pinching and works with both A2 and fl at top upper receivers.

The universal barrel wrench is made by Olympic Arms and used by our expert technicians every day. Includes an integral handle with multi-point head and three prong design. Features a 1/2” port for torque wrench specs, notched for fl ash suppressors and extension tubes. Capped with a stock spanner wrench and fl at head screw drivers.

Ultramatch barrels are chambered for .223 Remington minimum and ARB barrels are chambered to 5.56 nato standard.

All barrels ordered with custom shop options (fl uting, custom length, contour or threads) are subject to the Custom Shop Fee. The multiple aperture rear sight and detachable front sight are a great addition to any model AR15 with fl at top upper, FIRSH handguard or gas block. Both provide the same adjustability as their A2 counterparts and also fl ip-up/down for use with scopes and other accessories as well.

The fl at top upper receiver kit [T12A] features a fl at top upper receiver along with ejection cover assembly and round forward assist assembly. The A2 upper receiver kit [T11] features an A2 upper receiver, E-2 rear sight assembly, ejection cover assembly and round forward assist assembly.

Our pistol grips will fi t any mil-spec lower receiver and are an easy item to upgrade. All grips include hex head screw for installation. The ERGO pistol grip [F3E] is also available as Sure-Grip with soft-rubber stippled surface for a smooth, strong grip feel.

The M4 contour handguards [M4S] will directly replace the standard carbine length handguards [F9] and enable a more natural grip on the rifl e because of the oval M4 shape.

The delta ring assembly [F5A] includes the delta ring, weld spring, snap ring, sling swivel, and roll pins for the sling swivel and gas tube. Gas tubes are made from stainless steel.

Easily add an extra 1” to your buttstock with either the A2 stock spacer kit [H24] or the extended receiver tube [T30D]. The A2 stock spacer kit works with A2 buttstocks [T31] only. The extended receiver tube works with collapsible stocks [T30CM4] only.

Skeleton stocks come in two types: retro fi t and complete kit. A retro kit gets you only the parts necessary to switch from an A2 buttstock to the ACE Skeleton stock. The complete kit includes all parts for an installation onto a stripped lower receiver (as shown to right).

All ACE Skeleton stocks are strong, durable and easy to install. Each model includes an optional rubber pad that attaches the end of the stock for grip and comfort (shown installed in photos).

Lifetime Warranty

Our goal at Olympic Arms, Inc. (“OAI”, “we” and “us”) is to lead the industry in customer service and satisfaction. For this reason, we are proud to offer the most comprehensive factory warranty of its kind by any AR-15 manufacturer.

We will warranty all parts and products manufactured by OAI against any and all manufacturer’s defects in materials and workmanship, which affect the satisfactory operation of the item being warranted. This portion of the warranty is non-transferable. We will warranty the reliable function of any OAI firearm fully assembled at the factory for the lifetime of the firearm to the original owner. This portion of the warranty is transferable.

The liability of OAI is limited to repair or replacement of only those parts determined by our staff to be defective on the part of the factory. The decision to repair or replace a warranted product will be made by OAI as necessary to provide the customer with a properly operating finished product. OAI assumes no liability for accidental or consequential damages. The following items are specifically excluded from coverage under this warranty:

1. Normal wear of the protective finishes and of all metal or plastic parts.

2. Damage or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, or unauthorized repair or alteration.

3. Damage or malfunction resulting from barrel obstructions.4. Damage or malfunction resulting from use of other than factory

SAAMI specification brass cased new production ammunition.5. Damage resulting from the use of ANY imported, hand loaded,

reloaded, or factory re-manufactured ammunition.6. Any finished products that are NOT assembled at the factory,

or are assembled using imported or used parts. This includes completed rifle kits, pistol kits, upper receivers, lower receivers, barrel units / assemblies, etc.

7. Any damage to OAI parts or components during assembly by an individual, organization, company, or entity other than OAI.

60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Beyond warranty, Olympic Arms, Inc. (“OAI”, “we” and “us”) guarantees complete customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with the purchase of any OAI product based on any product or warranty related reason, simply return it to us within sixty (60) days along with a copy of the original invoice and we will replace the item, or credit or refund the original purchase price (to be decided by OAI). Restrictions apply, see below.

Product or warranty related reason is defined as any warranty or service/repair issue, or deficiency in the advertised performance of the product in question. It does not apply to dealers and/or individual who, after having received the product feel as though a different product would be better suited for their needs. In cases such as this, exchanges can be made on new, unfired, products returned in their original packaging along with a copy of the original sales invoice. A restocking fee (currently 15%) may apply.

Refunds are made on returns based on our advertised Lifetime Warranty and/or Satisfaction Guarantee. All credit card purchases will be refunded directly to the credit card on which the original purchase was made. Cash purchases, or COD orders will be refunded via an Olympic Arms company check to be issued no earlier than five (5) business days after the returned product has been received. Shipping and handling charges are not refunded unless the product returned is determined to have been defective from the time it left OAI and are not refunded or credited on non-warranty related exchanges. No exceptions.

If your purchase was made through an OAI retailer/dealer, then they (the retailer/dealer) have the option to return the product to OAI for a replacement, credit, or refund as well. OAI does not dictate the in-store policies of OAI retailers/dealers. Check with your retailer/dealer for their policy before purchasing.
