November: Month of the Holy Souls

All Saints Day: 1st November(Holy Day of Obligation)

Wednesday 1st November is All Saints Day, a day on which the Church requires all Catholics to attend Mass. In order to provide plenty of possibilities for us to celebrate this important day, and to keep our obligation Masses for All Saints will be as follows: Tuesday 31st, 7pm (Vigil Mass), 1st: 9am, 12noon & 7pm.

All Souls Day: 2nd NovemberOn All Souls Day we pray for all the faithful departed. It is good to pray for the Holy Souls, that the Lord would cleanse them, and bring them to new life with him. All Souls day is not a day of obligation, however there will be a revised schedule on that day to allow those who want to come and pray for the dead in this special way. Masses will be at 9am, 12noon & 7pm.
