Light weight 100% cotton is woven alternately to create intricately detailed multi colored plaids and stripes.

Also known as Chindi rugs, these colorful and varied designs are produced when long strips of 100% cotton are twisted together.

Woven on hand looms and hand printed using screens, these rugs are then distress washed to give them a vintage look.

There’s nothing like the softness, warmth and color a handwoven rug can bring to a room. Woven on hand looms, these rugs are 80% wool and 20% cotton for durability and comfort.

Whimsical patchwork in 100% cotton casement adds a unique touch to a room. Each patchwork piece is fringed at the edges for a fun and casual feel.

JUTE PLAID

Naturally strong jute fiber is braided to form a continuous rope of varied colors. Jute is a highly renewable plant fiber that has been used in textiles for centuries.

Using the same technique as our braided jute rugs, these rugs are then stenciled using a screen printing process and durable dye.

Woven on hand looms, this blend of 80% Hemp and 20% Jute offers a comfortable and relaxed feel. Natural fiber rugs bring a modern organic look and neutral texture to any setting.

This woven blend of 75% jute and 25% wool features classic plaid patterns in our best-selling color combinations.

JUTE & WOOL

Our handmade Kilim is a durable blend of 75% jute and 25% wool, which is tightly woven to create a flat surface with no pile.

COTTON Chindi Rag RugsRag rug methods were brought to North America with immigration to the new world. The average person had little money or new materials so they carefully saved every scrap of fabric from all sources to make home decor. These remnants were cut into strips, sewn together and rolled into big balls to be made into rugs when time allowed. Old clothing and bedding which had outlived their original purpose became valuable all over again. Repurposing before it was in style!

Our chindi weave is now available in an eco-friendly recycled cotton denim and renewable hemp blend. Hemp backing creates a durable structure. Each rug will be unique due to the variety of denims used.

The Millie Collection features 100% cotton casement fabrics reminiscent of early 20th century flour sack and floral designs in a distressed antique finish. The process of Distress Washing produces varied results in sizes and color. The size of the rug is approximate and the color unique.
