The committee was ably as-dsted by several members of the Auxiliary. On Tuesday evening, Mrs. Andrew McLachian, hospital chairman, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Morris, Mrs. Marie Fridrichs and Mrs. John Savitsky visited the veterans at the *Holtsville Sanator­ium. They took ice ,cream, cup cakes and cigarettes. There is however a great need for musical entertainment for these veterans and anyone with talent who is in­terested may call Mrs. McLachian.

Mrs. Joseph Paulonis spent the week end visiting with her daugh­ter, Miss Dorothy, who is working and living in Boston, Mass. They also visited with her son Joseph,' a student at Massachusetts Insti­tute of Technology, in Cambridge.

Mr. and Mrs. William Gertson and their son, Donald, of Brook Street, returned home Sunday from Florida, where they visited Mr. and- Mrs. Jack Lembeck at Naples, and the William Letfords in DcLand. .
