STATE USE PROGRAM1

WHO WE AREThe State Use Program works with not-for-profit organizations that provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities. We market the products and services of individuals with disabilities, linking them to meaningful career options.

By investing in the State Use Program, we continue to grow annually, helping Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRPs) employ nearly 2100 individuals.

OUR POLICIESWe place strong emphasis on the quality and reliability of the products and services provided by our member CRPs. All of our products and services are fully guaranteed to give 100 percent satisfaction in every way. If you find something is unsatisfactory, the vendor will take the necessary steps to correct the issue.

Feel free to write or call our office with comments or complaints. You will receive fast, personal attention from a helpful staff member. We want you to be as pleased as we are with the efforts of our Community Rehabilitation Programs.

BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAMOrdering products and utilizing services through the Oklahoma State Use Program achieves far-reaching benefits for customers, individuals with disabilities and taxpayers.

HOW WE HELP CUSTOMERS1. Customers receive a competitive price

without the cost of administering a bid.

2. The program offers a wide variety of product and service options.

3. Each contract is negotiated individually, allowing for customization to meet specific wants and needs.

HOW WE HELP PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES1. We provide stable, vocational rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities in the community.

2. We provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to become self-sufficient.

3. We provide training, meaningful employment and fair wages for individuals with disabilities.

HOW WE HELP TAXPAYERS1. The State Use Program has proven to reduce the cost of care for people with disabilities.

2. By adding employees with disabilities to the work force, the program helps increase the tax base. National studies have shown a savings in public expenditures for purchases made through the State Use Program.

3. Since CRPs are located in large and small communities, the program also stimulates local area economic growth.
