FY2011 The Oklahoma Board of Nursing held its fifth regular meeting of FY2011 on March 29, 30 & 31, 2011. Notice of the meeting was filed with the Secretary of State’s Office and notice/agenda was posted on the Oklahoma Board of Nursing web site. A notice/agenda was also posted on the Cameron Building front entrance at 2915 N. Classen, Oklahoma City, as well as the Board office, 2915 N. Classen, Suite 524, 24 hours prior to the meeting. Interviews to replace the Administrative Technician for renewals and reinstatements are pending. Statements of Financial Interest are due to the Ethics Commission by May 17, 2011. Offgoing Board members are required to file two reports. The first will cover days served during calendar year 2010. The second should be marked as the “final” filing, which is due within sixty (60) of the end of the term, and will cover days served in calendar year 2011. Individuals not filing prior to established deadlines could be fined. A meeting was held with the Board-approved evaluation providers to discuss evaluation criteria and the need for more focus on collateral interviewing and treatment options, if recommended. The Fiscal Year 2010 Annual Report was distributed to Board members via their onsite packets. 5.2 Discussion and Board decision regarding contract legal services for FY2012 K.
