November 2015 Dear Child Advocate: Since 1901, Ohio PTA has provided parents with the tools and resources to raise and protect their children. As the oldest and largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation, our PTAs offer parents and families a powerful voice to speak on behalf of all children while providing parents with the tools to help their children be successful students.
The PTA Vision is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
PTA is
A powerful voice for all children,
A relevant resource for families and communities, and
A strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.
We work in partnership with a wide array of individuals and organization to accomplish our agreed-upon goals. We are dedicated to promoting children’s health, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family and community involvement. We value and seek input from as wide a spectrum of viewpoints and experiences as possible.
Financial support from friends like you enables the Ohio PTA to develop and deliver much needed new resources and training to parents as they grow to be advocates for all children and influence policy and legislation affecting children and families. Contributions are used to strengthen and extend the work of the PTA through field service, conferences and materials. Your tax deductible gift – whether $25, $50, $100 or more – will help fund the programs and services that ultimately result in giving children a better chance to succeed.
