growth utilizing DOJO, emails, phone and text messaging.
• 100% Families benefited from B.L. Miller transitioning. re-framing their family engagement framework, recognizing the need for more high -impact family engagement.
• 7 Community partners were engaged in supporting family engagement strategies through activities/ providing student achievement awards for meeting benchmarks/goals and providing the Triple P parenting class series for our families.

Our Action Steps Highlights✔ PTO provided ALL students in grades K-5 with a book of
their choice for their birthday.
✔ Principal was able to read aloud and teach an SEL lesson to each class (grades K-5)
✔ Teachers in grades K-3 completed running records on all studentsto determine instructional each quarter. Teachers in grades 4-5 completed this for 5 students each.

Our Action Steps Highlights✔ Encourage family reading time at home with a connection to
school. Activities include sending Charlotte's Web book home with every family to read, along with comprehension questions to fill out and drawings for prizes for returning questions, piglets visiting the school, and 2 movie showings at the local movie theater.
✔ Increase parent awareness of Learning Intentions and Success Criteria. Activities included an informational letter and visible learning school to home worksheets for 7 weeks, where students told their parents what they were learning in school and how they knew they had learned it. Student responses were put in a drawing for a chance to win prizes.
