How Are We Addressing This From An Articulation and Transfer Perspective?
Ohio has had a statewide Articulation and Transfer Policy since 1990
Assured transfer students the same consideration and treatment as native studentsCreated the concept of a Transfer Module, a subset of general education courses guaranteed to transfer as a whole

How the TAG Guarantee Works
Let’s say a student decides to transfer Intro to Managerial Accounting from ABC Local Technical College to XYZ State Four Year University….
ACC2700A
OBU 002
ACTG1050
ABC
OAN
XYZ
The student is GUARANTEED this is how their course will transfer. The student will receive credit for ACTG1050 and it will apply to the major as if the student had taken ACTG1050 at XYZ University.
