organizations could be ensured because of the goodwill and reputation of the ATC Guild ininternationally. Besides conducting the International seminar, two one-day seminars will beI

conducted at major stations by the CEC.II

The General Secretary gave a brief about the latest development and emphasized that themembers should be: encouraged for participation in the guild activities and all RegionalSecretaries and Branch Secretaries should convene a general body meeting once in two monthspositively to discuss all issues. He also urged them to keep a record of the participants in theGeneral Body meeting at the branch level and submit the report along with names to CEC. AllCentral Council members were exhorted to instill a sense of confidence amongst the membersand participation of members in all guild activities should be encouraged. There have beenseveral occasions when feedback from the stations/members has been sought. To the utterdisappointment of CEC virtually no response was received. Instances like ATC Guildconstitution amendment, proposed revision of tenure of stations, revision of R&P etc werecirculated for providing comments but the involvement of membership was absence. Consideringthe present attitude of AAI management in resolving issues pertaining to ATCOs, we may haveto enter into serious dialogue with concerned agencies. Solidarity, coherent approach andsensible progress can be made only with the involvement of Membership. General Secretaryexhorted all members to remain in the mainstream and provide useful feedback through theirRepresentatives to ensure a bright future in the ensuing changes in the organizational structure,
