I’m wondering whether President Nixon when he re-established diplomatic relationship with China in 1972 envisaged that 40 years later China would become an offshore banking haven for US Citizens. I guess not a lot of people could have made this prognostic at the time. I did not. For my defense I must say that I was 8 years old at the time and that offshore banking issues were not yet of interest to me. Bank of Beijing is a Chinese bank created in 1996 and which main shareholders are the Government of the City of Beijing and ING from the Netherlands. Advantages: The Bank accounts opened with Bank of Beijing will not be subject to China Forex control and funds may be transferred freely in and out. There is no need to fly to Beijing for bank account opening purpose but it will be needed to sign the documents in front of an officer of Bank of Beijing and/or ING overseas. Drawback: This solution is definitively for HNWI only as the minimum deposit is 3,000,000 USD. We have a pleasure to inform you that Bank of Beijing has accepted to offer bank account opening for US owned

offshore companies.

Bank of Beijing is a Chinese bank created in 1996 and which main shareholders are the Government of the City of

Beijing and ING from the Netherlands.

Advantages:

The Bank accounts opened with Bank of Beijing will not be subject to China Forex control and funds may be
