He invited her to Sicily to spend a few days’ holiday together. The two women do not know each other. Anna did not even know of Jeanne’s existence. And Giuseppe is not there. Where has he gone? His things are all there, in his room.Soon, very soon he will return, is what Anna says. The days pass, the two women slowly get to know each other, they learn to wait. Caroline, a Parisian aged around 40, arrives in a sleepy valley on the Black Mountain, southwest France. She has cut short her family vacation to organize the funeral of her mother, Isabelle, who has died suddenly. They were not close.Caroline is greeted by Pattie, also in her forties, and who looks after Isabelle’s house. Around these parts, folk get by on not very much, but they seem to have a lot of fun – especially at this time of year when village dances are held as part of the summer tradition.Caroline had planned on leaving the next day, but then her mother’s body mysteriously disappears. The gendarmes investigate, exploring the most outlandish theories. Meanwhile, Pattie gives Caroline some detailed, ribald accounts of her many passionate encounters at the local dances.Caroline finds herself immersed in another world, one which resembles the fairy tales that make little girls dream, or else scare the hell out of them.

The true story of Florence Foster Jenkins (Meryl Streep), the legendary New York heiress and socialite who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great opera singer. The voice she heard in her head was beautiful, but to everyone else it was hilariously awful. Viceroy’s House in Delhi was the home of the British rulers of India. For 6 months in 1947, Lord Mountbatten assumed the post of the last Viceroy, charged with handing India back to its people. Mountbatten lived upstairs together with his wife and daughter. Downstairs lived their 5,000 Hindu, Muslim and Sikh servants. As the political elite took their seats upstairs to wrangle over the birth of independent India, conflict erupted throughout the House. In a moment of history that demands to be more widely understood, a catastrophic decision was taken that continues to reverberate throughout the world.

SUFFRAGETTE

SUFFRAGETTE is a thrilling drama that tracks the story of the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement, women who were forced underground to pursue a dangerous game of cat and mouse with an increasingly brutal State. These women were not primarily from the genteel educated classes, they were working women who had seen peaceful protest achieve nothing. Radicalized and turning to violence as the only route to change, they were willing to lose everything in their fight for equality - their jobs, their homes, their children and their lives. MAUD was one such foot soldier. The story of her fight for dignity is both heart-breaking and inspirational.

Early every morning, Bartabas works his favorite horse, Caravage. The pair holds a silent conversation, in which each guides the other. Will they attain that perfection which will allow them to perform before an audience?First they must overcome fitness issues, bounce back after a failed training session, and refine their act, before savoring the pleasure of a faultless performance. The filmmaker has been allowed to witness this intimate relationship. After a time, this gives rise to a trio, whose hearts beat as one. The spectator will perhaps make this a quartet.
