ABOUT ANDREA IERVOLINO

Andrea Iervolino, 30 years old, is one of the most powerful Italian businessman. He awarded Knighthood of Italian Republic (Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana) on June 18, 2018 by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Italian Consulate of Canada for recognition of his outstanding achievement in the fields of business and media culture. He awarded as Best Producer at 71^ Venice Film Festival, together with Al Pacino and Barry Levinson. He was named filmmaker of the year for his roles as producer of In Dubious Battle at Capri Hollywood Film Festival 2016. In 2015 he becomes “Ambassador of Italian Cinema in the world” and “Best Italian Businessman of the world”. He received many other awards during his successful career. He was named one of Variety’s 2015 Dealmakers. In 2016 and 2018 he awarded at ICFF – Italian Contemporary Film Festival as Best Producer and businessman. At thirteen, Andrea Iervolino launched a small tech business selling websites with his friends to local entrepreneurs in Cassino, where it was unusual to use the Internet for advertising. In 2018, he launched TaTaTu - a block-chain based platform, intertwining social media activity with entertainment viewing through which users are rewarded to watch movies, television episodes and other forms of content, and receive additional rewards from their friends’ viewing.[9] In June 2018, TaTaTu Token sold over $575 million worth of its currency through an initial coin offering (ICO), making it the third-largest coin offering, behind Telegram and EOS, respectively. He has been a producer since the age of 15, producing, financing and distributing over 70 films. Co founder with Monika Bacardi of a number different production companies, he is currently, the youngest and most highly regarded Italian entrepreneurs in the world of film-making. Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi’s AMBI Media Group is currently on a strong upward roll, producing and putting together many of those films that will be screened in forthcoming movie and television seasons.

San Marino Innovationporta la tecnologia Blockchain in Repubblica

È sempre una scommessa, ma possiamo affermare che nel territorio della Repubblica la tecnologia blockchain non è più un’utopia. Grazie al lavoro fatto nell’ultimo anno da San Marino Innovation in collaborazione con le Segreterie di Stato e le Istituzioni Sammarinesi il progetto San Marino Blockchain è realtà; la normativa per il settore è in dirittura di arrivo e la partnership con Polybius sta raccogliendo interesse da tutto il mondo.

San Marino è pronto per accettare la sfida blockchain? A giudicare dai presenti all’evento promosso da StartUP Grind “Let’s talk about Blockchain” e da Nuove Idee Nuove Imprese, in collaborazione con l’Università di San Marino, la risposta è sì.

l’innovazione, ha creato un tavolo tecnico all’interno del suo Comitato Scientifico sulla Blockchain per confrontarsi con i maggiori esperti del settore: “abbiamo costituito un team di grande caratura professionale” - dice il Presidente Sergio Mottola - “e ne fanno parte Istituzioni sammarinesi, l’Autorità di Informazione Finanziaria, importanti società come CERVED e CISCO, professionisti tra cui, Prof. Avv. Stefano Loconte, managing partner di Loconte & Partners e gli Avvocati Emanuela Campari Bernacchi, Licia Garotti e Valentina Lattanzi dello Studio Gattai, Minoli, Agostinelli &

Partners”.Ci sono molti settori che saranno innovati dalla tecnologia Blockchain, che rappresenta una tecnologia disruptive, ovvero con un potenziali di diffusione paragonabile all’energia elettrica che farà parte della nostra vita per lungo tempo e cambierà radicalmente le dinamiche economiche di settori tradizionali creando la possibilità di quel cambio necessario per garantire crescita di lungo periodo.

Per questo San Marino Innovation ha promosso un dibattito importante lo scorso 19 settembre, a cui hanno preso

parte relatori d’eccezione quali Andrea Iervolino, imprenditore di un’importante ICO nel settore del cinema, e Marco Crotta, fondatore del canale YouTube Blockchain Café.

Andrea Iervolino ha parlato della sua esperienza con TATATU che, utilizzando la tecnologia blockchain, ha raccolto oltre 575 milioni di dollari, fornendo dettagli chiarificatori a tutti i presenti: “Avevo conosciuto San Marino Innovation al momento della quotazione e con il Presidente Mottola abbiamo discusso della possibilità di farla a San Marino. Sfortunatamente in tempi non erano allineati e abbiamo dovuto optare per una soluzione diversa non essendo la giurisdizione sammarinese ancora pronta; ma la strategia del progetto San Marino Blockchain è certamente vincente rispetto ad altri Paesi”.

TATATU rappresenta la dimostrazione di questa trasformazione transattiva facilitata dalla tecnologia Blockchain applicata a un settore particolarmente tradizionale come quello del contenuto cinematografico. La piattaforma è stata

creata per rivitalizzare tutti i protagonisti del settore. I produttori ci pubblicano film e altro materiale, i visitatori vengono pagati per vedere i film, le agenzie di pubblicità ci fanno le loro campagne, gli spettatori a livello mondiale possono acquistare anche delle quote piccolissime. Occorreva innovare per trovare nuove strade contro la deriva delle presenze nelle sale cinematografiche (anche quest’anno i biglietti hanno segnato un -17%) . E questa è una. Anche Antonio Banderas non voleva soldi per il cachet del film su Lamborghini, ma “token” (gettoni digitali) di Tatatu”. Ovviamente è una battuta, ma Iervolino dice che c’è molto interesse da parte degli investitori.

Il relatore Marco Crotta ha invece sottolineato l’opportunità di trasformare le opportunità in economia: “Stiamo crescendo e ogni settimana decine d’imprenditori e startupper si rivolgono a noi per idee e progetti”.

Sergio Mottola, Presidente di San Marino Innovation, ha rimarcato come: “la presenza di Andrea è il segnale dell’opportunità economica che stiamo

aprendo per la Repubblica: chi non vorrebbe qualche società come Tatatu che sceglie San Marino come giurisdizione per raccogliere $575 milioni e lanciare un progetto così innovativo”. Ha inoltre sottolineato come il ruolo dello Stato, tramite San Marino Innovation, sia di vitale importanza per regolare alcune dinamiche che darebbero maggiore trasparenza e fiducia in un sistema ancora nuovo accrescendo l’impatto economico.

Mottola, che ha anche coordinato i lavori insieme ad Andrea Bifulco per StartUp Grind, si dice soddisfatto, non solo per l’interesse che la serata ha suscitato ma ha per il lavoro svolto fino ad ora e ha dichiarato: “Ormai siamo vicini, la Repubblica è pronta a guadagnarsi il suo posto in questo settore e certamente diventerà un richiamo importante per aziende ed investitori dandoci vantaggio competitivo importante”. Mottola ringrazia inoltre tutte le Istituzioni sammarinesi, Segreterie di Stato, Banca Centrale, l’Autorità di Informazione Finanziaria, l’ABS, le associazioni e i privati per il supporto prezioso e il lavoro di sistema efficace.
