(57) Abstract :
The fuel price and pollution due to general vehicles in metro cities and urban areas are increasing day by day. To overcome these
problems, alternative methods are being developed. The solar assisted bicycle developed is driven by BLDC motor fitted in front axle
and is operated by solar energy. Usually, photovoltaic (PV) cells contained in solar panels convert the sun™s energy directly into
electric energy. The term solar bicycle• usually implies that solar energy is used to power all or part of cycle propulsion. Solar
vehicles are not sold as practical day-to-day transportation devices at present, but are primarily demonstration vehicles and
engineering exercises, often sponsored by government agencies. Solar cars have been developing since the last twenty years and are
powered by energy from the sun. Although they are not a practical or economic form of transportation at present, in the future they
may play a part in reducing our reliance on burning fossil fuels such as petrol and diesel. Solar energy/Solar panels are playing a major
role in the economy today in terms of saving electricity & creating green house or eco-friendly atmosphere. But when it comes to the
automobile industry and their quest of powering the huge engines, it is still in the research phase as to how to compete with the fuel
efficient vehicles. An electric bicycle, also known as an e-bike, power bike or booster bike, is a bicycle with an integrated electric
motor which can be used for propulsion. Many kinds of e-bikes are available worldwide, from e-bikes that only have a small motor to
assist the riders pedal-power to somewhat more powerful e-bikes which tend closer to moped-style functionality: all, however, retain
the ability to be pedaled by the rider and are therefore not electric motorcycles. E-bikes use rechargeable batteries and the lighter
varieties can travel up to 25 to 32 km/h (16 to 20 mph), depending on the laws of the country in which they are sold, while the more
high-powered varieties can often do in excess of 45 km/h (28 mph). When the E-bike is not in use, the battery get charged using the
solar power. The proposed model has been designed in order to overcome few problems associated with previous models. Few
problems from previous models are rectified in this prototype and required tests are carried out.

(57) Abstract :
Having applications in the areas of extraction of biofuel, medicines, natural dyes etc., the challenges related to extraction and study of
different species of algae have become a thrust area in recent times. Existing collection of such algae from the sea is restricted to
certain species. In this invention, we present the design of the modular autonomous underwater vehicle (MAUV) for identification and
collection of samples of idiosyncratic species of algae from the sea. It is a surveying cum collection marine robot which does not
require any input from the operator. It is based on simple hydrodynamic principles to achieve precise underwater movements and
controls so as to facilitate underwater surveying. The vehicle is designed to perform assorted tasks such as reaching the required depth,
negotiating underwater obstacles, identifying idiosyncratic algae in water using particle image velocimetry (PIV), collecting
multitudinous samples, self-extraction from the water. Easy to deploy and operate from the surface as well as ships make it an
exemplary choice and its long-endurance offer new ways to gather data of different species of algae from the sea, conduct missions in
the sea, and communicate across domains to deliver actionable intelligence.

(57) Abstract :
The present invention relates to an ophthalmic formulation of a bithienyl compound viz. 2-ethynyl-5-(thiophen-2-yl) thiophene from
Tagetes erecta roots for delaying the onset and progression of cataract. The anticataract potential of the formulation of bithienyl
compound was evaluated using the steroid induced cataract assay in developing chick embryos wherein the normal (untreated by
hydrocortisone) group evinced no development of cataract in the chick lenses whereas the control group was graded for stage 5
cataract. Calcium dobesilate was used as a positive control that showed 100% protection against cataract and the formulation of
bithienyl compound also evinced 100% protection against cataract as the chick lenses were graded for stage 1.

(57) Abstract :
Vedic mathematics has provided us with quick solution of complex problems. Even though it has got little attention in this digital era.
The inventors have observed that complex 2s complement subtraction process in todays computers can be superseded by the Vedic
subtraction using Vinculum. Hence, the proposed work have devised a Vedic subtraction methodology to be used in computer
hardware in place of 2s complement subtraction. It is claimed that the hardware designed such away will be more efficient and less
time consuming as it has already been proved that the Vedic multiplication have shown significant improvement in speed over the
currently used mechanism for multiplication in computer system.

(57) Abstract :
Disclosed is a system (104) for providing continuous load assistance to a user while working with an exoskeleton (102). Initially, the
system (104) receives environmental data, facial data and health data associated to the user. The system (104) extracts a plurality of
parameters from the facial data using a pattern matching technique. After extracting, the system (104) computes an overall stress index
of the user based on the plurality of parameters and the environmental data. Further, the system (104) compares the overall stress
index with a predefined threshold to identify whether the assistance is necessary. Furthermore, the system (104) actuates arms of the
exoskeleton automatically based on the overall stress index in order to provide continuous load assistance to the user while working
with the exoskeleton. The arms are supported by a supporting rod configured to slide on a trapezoidal wedge present in the
exoskeleton.

(57) Abstract :
Operations of Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles are complex on account of control autonomy and manoeuvring precision.
Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) are fully autonomous in their operation under most environmental conditions and permits
the vehicle to follow precise preprogramed trajectories. The generic design of an AUV consists of a propeller thruster combined with
control fins to propel and steer the vehicle. This is a low cost Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) with 2 thrusters, 4 buoys and a
robotic arm, which can go underwater to places where human cannot reach with a propulsion method that provides thrust at low
velocities as well as a sensing system that works efficiently in cluttered environments. For high efficiency, these sensing and actuation
technologies has been well integrated with the typical manoeuvres the vehicle needs to make.

Present invention relates to microcontroller based high voltage pulse electric field generator. The objective of the invention is to
associated with monitoring and controlling the wide input range of 2.2% to +3% an ideal and essential for some material where the
voltage is extremely erratic. Moreover, the output accuracy of -1% to +2.3% is sufficient for heating and lighting applications.
Nevertheless, the output voltage fluctuation of the proposed AVR is within an acceptable range. Microcontroller based high voltage
pulse electric field generator has been presented. A variable frequency from 50 Hz to 500 kHz can be generated for the high voltage
(1.5 kV) approximately. Solid state semiconductor technology has been used to generate pulses of high voltage with a variable
frequency. The variable frequency based voltage controller gives flexible application for the electroluminescence characterization
setup. This setup would be regularized with the developed module. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1

(57) Abstract :
Present invention relates to an automated vibrating sample magnetometer instrument. The vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) is
one of the most successful implementations of a magnetometer. The VSM is indifferent to mass and size of sample up to a
considerable range. In module the sample is introduced in a constant uniform external magnetic field which induces a magnetization in
the sample. As the magnetized sample is then vibrated, it introduces perturbations in the external magnetic field. A set of coils or some
magnetic field sensors can be arranged around the sample to measure these perturbations. For particular coil geometry, the emf
generated in coils will depend on (a) the amplitude and frequency of vibration, (b) external magnetic field and (c) the magnetization of
sample. With proper manipulation, we can deduce the value for magnetization from EMF. Following invention is described in detail
with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing the block diagram of the proposed system.

(57) Abstract :
Abstract: We are going to implement the concept of magnetism on the sofa, as we know that like poles repel each other and unlike
poles attract each other. We have divided the idea into three subparts. The first part will consist of an electromagnet fixed to the lower
body base of the sofa placed in the bottom part. The second part will consist of an electromagnet fixed to the base floor of the sofa in
the top part. The third part will control the power supplied to the electromagnets by using an external power source. By increasing the
magnetic repulsion, a sufficient force will be generated to lift the sofa to a desirable height. The mechanism of lifting the sofa is
achieved using a programmed power controller.

(57) Abstract :
ABSTRACT:- Impure water contains various chemical and biological compounds. The intake of this compound can result in various
physiological and psychological disorders. Water purification is important action point in developing countries as it is hindrance to
improvement in healthcare services. Currently the purification method used adopts polymer membrane with reverse osmosis(RO)
method. This requires replacement of membrane based on usage of water. As the membrane is made of polymer it is not
biodegradable and affects environment. To avoid this we have developed a method by which membrane is not required. The same
effect is achieved by electro-polarization which also improves the quality of water. This method is environmental friendly.
