Parish Secretary - Debbie Coffin has decided to resign her position as Parish Secretary. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Debbie for her service to the parish and wish her well in the future! God Bless You! Therefore, the parish is accepting resumes for the part time position of Parish Secretary. The position requires post-secondary education and prior office administrative experience, knowledge/course work in bookkeeping, accounting and banking procedures as well as advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel and email. The successful applicant must be bondable and capable of passing police and court checks. Sneaker Drive - The CWL and Knights of Columbus Carbonear are collecting donations of gently used men’s and women’s sneakers for The Gathering Place in St. John’s. Drop off is Wednesday, August 1st at the Knights of Columbus Carbonear from 2:00-4:00pm. If you are unable to make this drop off time, Butt’s Esso in Carbonear will also accept donations anytime. The Gathering Place is in desperate need of sneakers so please consider going through your closet and donating to this worthy cause. Knights of Columbus Dalton Council - Annual Barbeque is taking place August 11th for all members and friends of the Knights of Columbus. Tickets are $10.00 and are available by calling 596-1750 or 589-7811. Dalton Council General Meeting is scheduled for August 13th at 8:00pm.
