Mr. S. RAMAKRISHNAN (Managing Director)

Starting the career in 1963, he has worked for 27 years in Cement Industry in

M/s Chettinad Cements Corporation Limited at Puliyur, M/s Tamilnadu Cements

Corporation Ltd., at Alangulam and Ariyalur and M/s Madras Cements Ltd., at

Jayanthipuram. The Madras Cements Ltd., Jayanthipuram Project executed by him as

General Manager at a total cost of Rs.80 Crores is a model plant in India.

During this period, he was involved in

Ø Preparation of Project drawings, Fabrication and Erection of Machinery and

Commissioning of mills at M/s Chettinad Cements Corporation Ltd., Puliyur.

Ø Erection supervision during Project execution and Plant maintenance at M/s

Tamilnadu Cements Corporation Ltd., Alangulam.

Ø Planning and Execution of 1,500 TPD Cement Plant initially and then as a General

Manager having total responsibility of the unit at M/s Tamilnadu Cements

Corporation Ltd. Ariyalur.

Ø Right from Feasibility report, Selection of vendors, Selection of process and

connected equipment, Implementation of the 2,500 TPD Cement Project for M/s

Madras Cements Ltd., at Jayanthipuram, as the General Manager.

Ø He had traveled to many European Cement Plants and fully exposed to New

developments and Technology.

With his vast experience, he started M/s TAFE-CON PRIVATE LIMITED and he is

Mr. B. BALASUBRAMANIAM (Chief Consultant)

Started his career as Mechanical Engineer in the year 1960 with M/s. Madras Cements

Ltd., Ramasamyraja Nagar.

During the span of 30 years

Ø Involved in the Project Execution, Operation and Maintenance of Cement Plant.

Worked in 4 Projects, last being the Madras Cements Plant at Jayanthipuram.

Ø Exposure to many European Plants and latest developments to Process and

Equipment.

He joined M/s Tafe-Con in 1990 and has Twenty years of experience with M/s Tafe-

Con as Chief Consultant, catering to the requirement of Major Plants.

Mr. S.V. NAGARAJA (Consultant)

Started his career as Electronics Engineer in the year 1975.

Worked as Instrument Engineer with M/s. Kesoram Industries Cement Plant from the

year 1975 to 1978.

Joined Madras Cements Ltd., as Instrument Engineer in the year 1978 and left as

“Senior General Manager – Works” during the year 2006.

During the span of 31 years.

Ø Involved in the Project Execution, Operation and maintenance of Cement Plant.

Installed and commissioned Automation in 3 Cement Projects.

Ø Exposure to many European Plants and latest developments in the

Field instruments and automation of cement plants.

Mr. A.R.Manni (Consultant)

Started his career in 1966.

Worked in two projects viz., Chettinad Cements and Tamil Nadu Cements till the year

1994.

He was instrumental in setting up a Cement Grinding Unit during 1994 and managing it

as Managing Director.

With a total of 41 years of experience in Maintenance, operation and Project execution,

he is working as consultant in M/s Tafe-Con (P) Ltd. from 2002.

Mr. S.Kumarasamy ( Consultant )

Started his career in 1966 as Electrical Engineer with M/s Chettinad Cement Plant.

During the span of 42 Years, he has worked in M/s Chettinad Cements Corporation

Limited at Puliyur, M/s Southern Petro Chemicals (SPIC), Tuticorin, M/s Qatar

Fertilizer Company, Qatar and Tamilnadu Newsprint Papers limited, Pugalur.

He left TNPL in the position of Chief Manager.

He joined M/s Tafe-Con in 2007.

Served as Vice- President- Technical in Ms. Larsen and Toubro Ltd., Cement

Manufacturing Division (now a part of Aditya Birlas’ Grasim Group and rechristened

Ultra Tech Cement) and also as Advisor- Technical to Ms. Gujarat Ambuja Cements

Ltd.

During the period of association with Ms. L&T, was responsible for installing a Green

field 2 MTPA Cement plant at Hirmi, Dt., Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and also a 0.75 MTPA

Cement Grinding unit at Jharsuguda, Orissa State.

In his capacity as VP Technical, he was also responsible for implementation and

commissioning of L&T’s 2 MTPA Cement Unit at Tadpatri , Andhra Pradesh.

Our order value has increased from Rs.4.27 Lakhs in the year 1999 – 2000 to Rs.125.00

Lakhs in the year 2009-2010. We have so far supplied around 1000 drives, the highest

KW being 450 KW for M/s. Khyber Industries, Srinagar.
