    2.-INTERNAL INSPECTION

    For this initial inspection we will check that the OFB does not have any damage , also

    if the whole cabinet comes with the internal cabling.

    First : Determine the position for installing the unit , for example the BBU3806 ,as shown in the figure 3.2

    Second: Remove the four screws M6 x 12 from the guide rails and placed them inthe determined position, the riel guide will support the BBU 3806

    Third : Push the BBU3806 gently into its position and fasten it with the screws M6x 12.Figure 3.3

    The rest of the units will follow the same steps for its installation .

    5. CABLING AND INTERNAL LAYOUT

    5.1. E1 cables and Optical fiber

    The figure 5.1 shows the route of the E1 cables and the Optical Fiber and the rule for this lay outis as follow:

    E1 cable: We will use the hole marked as Spare 1 to pass through the two E1 cables to the BBU0.

    Optical Fiber: We will use the hole marked as F.O. 3 to 5 to pass the 3 Optical fiber.

    The Optical fiber and the E1 cable will be installed on the left side of the BBU and I will beseparated each other as the fig 5.1.1 shows.

    5.2 . Transmission cables

    For the E1s we will use the SPBC box as Lightning protection .The next figure shows the SPBCpanel.

    The use of the SPBC is recommended when the distance between the BBU and theTransmission equipment is more than 5m. as the fig 5.2.2 shows.

    For the RRU -48 VDC cables we will use the hole marked as DC LOAD 0 and we will use a 1adaptor for 1 pipe.The cables will be routed from the back to the front using the right side as the fig. 5.4 shows.

    For the Grounding Bar the holes distribution will be as the following :

    The -48VDC INPUT cables will be routed by the left side and we will use the hole marked as DCIN 0. To do that we will use a 1 terminator for 1 flexible pipe. As the fig 5.5.1 shows.

    Note: We can use the cable BLACK and BLUE cable from china if the distance betweenthe OFB and the POWER SOURCE equipment is less than 18 m.

    5.6. . ALARM CABLESThe alarm cable or the BBU is an R J45 connector which has three cablepairs, and each pair is connected as the pictures show.

    When the OFB need to be installed on the wall, we will consider the following

    .With this scenario the RRUs are in the same tower or in the same pole and we can run 3-48vdccables inside of 2 pipes 1 and the 3 fiber cables inside of a pipe 1:

    We will use the distribution if the RRU are located in different positions .

    We will use the boxes to distribute the optical and the power cables from the OFB to the RRU,and inside the boxes we can run the cables to different directions as the fig 7.3 shows.
