A frater- nity member is accused of deleting surveillance video from the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house basement. The charges, including involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and hazing are the result of an investigation into the deleted surveillance video which was restored by the FBI. WORK BEGINS ON FAIRVIEW FACILITY With the anniversary of the tornado last Nov. 30th fast approaching, Fairview Baptist Church has broken ground for a new building. The 36,000 square foot building will replace the Fairview Christian Academy and three other buildings that were destroyed by the tornado. Otha Evelyn Moses Key, age 75, of Athens, died last Friday at Etowah Health Care. She was retired from Collins and Aikman after 22 years of service. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ziegler Funeral Home, with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Dianna Mercedes Rodriquez, age 37, of Benton, died last Thursday at her residence. She was a former employee of Ama-zon. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home, with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. John Charles Frye, age 84, of Riceville, died Monday at Sweetwater Nursing home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Omni Services of Riceville. The family will have a private graveside service at the Riceville Cemetery. Companion Funeral Home of Athens is in charge. Louis Michael Hall, age 70, of Sweetwater, died last Friday at his home. At his request, there will be no formal services at this time. Companion Funeral Home of Athens is in charge. Robert James Albright, age 57, of Sweetwater, died last Satur-day at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. At his request there will be no formal services at this time. Companion Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
