Children’s Ministries (Harvest Kids) ~ What could fill your tank more than watching our children learn about Jesus, and in time, come to love and follow Him? Blessings to be obtained:
1) as Teacher Assistants, needed for Grade School ~ see Pastor Diane.
2) as Junior Leaders to join our AVODAH worship team, to become our preschool worship leaders. Practices are bi-weekly, Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm, Nov. 1, 15 & 29. With ques-tions, please contact Aileen or Pastor Diane.
3) by participating in Children’s Choir, Oct. 22-Nov. 26 for Kindergarteners through Grade 6’ers. Practices each Sunday in the Children’s area are from 10:25 to 10:55 am. Outreach to two Senior’s Centers will be Nov. 26th and then we will sing in “Big church’ Dec. 10th.
4) gathering items now to drop off at the church prior to our Annual OCC Shoebox Pack-ing Party on Friday, No-vember 3, so we can have them all organized & ready to stuff, stuff, stuff!
Then join us at the church November 3 at 6:30 pm for “stuffing” fun, as we assemble the shoeboxes.
Also, if you could bring along finger food snacks with you that evening, we will also have some-thing to “stuff” our tum-mies with!

Church Budget Meeting
Tuesday, November 21, 7 pm. Copies of the Budget and the Agenda will be available at the Info Kiosk closer to November 21.
ESL (English as a Second Language) At this time, we are not accepting new students, as we have surpassed our capacity. Presently we require an assistant who has a strong base in Spanish language and a good command of English to assist a few of our low-level Spanish newcomers. Please contact the church office if you can help out.
Helping Hands Ministry (Deaconesses) Do you, or someone you know need a visit, an encouraging phone call or a few meals to tide them over from a hospital stay, etc. Contact [email protected] Are you a NEW mom, or is there a NEW baby in your home? Life Groups Participation in a Life Group allows opportunities to: Develop meaningful relationships; pursue a fuller understanding & application of God’s Word; & minister to others through prayer & practical care. Wednesday morning Bible Studies, 9:15-11:30 am Precept (Doris) is studying ‘Hebrews’; ‘Jonah’ (Andrea & Twianne co-leading); ‘Art & Soul’ (Michelle); ‘The Roman Road’—bring your Bible (Tammy Joy) no book to purchase.
Thursday Quilters+, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm. (Nov. 2nd, 9th, 23rd. & 30th, Dec. 7th & 14th) Quilting PLUS...knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, cross stitch, etc. We work on charity quilts as well as our own projects. Come when you can—leave when you must. If you plan to stay over the noon hour, don’t forget to bring a lunch.
Thursday Evening Bible Study - 7:00 pm at the Kurtz home. Call or text 403-831-1739. “A Woman’s Wisdom: How the Book of Proverbs Speaks to Everything” by Lydia Brown-back. A 10-week Right Now Media Video Study. Books cost $20.
Thursday Evening Bible Study at the church, 6:30-8 pm. “Stretching YOUR Mind, Body and Soul” is a class combining fitness, the study of God’s Word and fellowship with women of all ages!
