製品の特長Characteristics of OLFINE

We are preparing "Acetylene Glycol" and "Acetylene Alcohol" versions as acetylenic surfactants. Acetylene glycol is a nonionic surfactant with a bilateral-symmetrical structure and an acetylene bond at the center of its molecule. Acetylene alcohol has an acetylene bond at its end and therefore has extremely strong orientation on a metal surface, which makes it possible to also utilize the acetylene alcohol for the purposes of preventing rust and imparting gloss during metal surface treatment.

● アセチレン系界面活性剤　Acetylenic Surfactants

アセチレン系界面活性剤には「アセチレングリコール」と「アセチレンアルコール」の2種類をご用意。アセチレングリコールはアセチレン結合を中央に持ち、左右対称の構造をした非イオン性界面活性剤です。またアセチレンアルコールは末端にアセチレン結合を持つため、金属表面との配向性が極めて強いため金属表面処理時の防錆や光沢付与にも利用出来ます。

オルフィンはアセチレン系界面活性剤であり、表面張力を大きく下げ、また泡を消す効果も併せ持つ事から「泡の立たない濡れ剤」「ハジキ等表面欠陥を損なわない消泡剤」として幅広い水系材料に応用されております。溶剤規制や様々な法律により環境問題がクローズアップされる中でこの機能が着目され、濡れや泡そして分散の問題を解決するために不可欠な添加剤となっております。OLFINE, which is an acetylenic surfactant, not only lowers surface tension dramatically but also exhibits a defoaming eff ect, and is therefore widely applied as a "Defoaming Wetting Agent" and a "Defoaming Agent without Causing Surface Defects such as Repellence" to various waterborne materials. Much focus is being placed on environmental issues due to restrictions on solvents and various regulations, and, in such circumstances, attention is being paid to these functions of OLFINE to make OLFINE an essential additive for solving the problems of wetting, foam, and dispersion.

OLFINE also exhibits excellent performance as a defoaming agent, and the eff ect of not only removing bubbles on liquid surfaces but also instantaneously removing fi ne bubbles suspended in a system can be obtained.

OLFINE® OLFINE® 静止した界面の表面張力を測定する「静的表面張力」とは異なり動いている界面の表面張力を表す。

実際に「ぬれ」を考える場面では液体が撹拌・循環・塗布などで流動していることが多く、より実際に即した「ぬれ」の指標である。

Diff erent from "Static Surface Tension" obtained by measuring the surface tension of a static interface, the dynamic surface tension represents surface tension of an interface in motion.Liquid is fl owing due to agitation, circulation, application, etc. in many cases when "wetting" is actually considered; therefore, the dynamic surface tension is a more practical index of "wetting."

液体の固体表面への濡れやすさを表す。濡れやすい表面（濡らしやすい液）の場合は接触角が低くなり、濡れにくい表面（濡らしにくい液）の場合は接触角が高くなる。

A contact angle represents how easily liquid is wet to a solid surface. A surface that is easy to wet (liquid that easily wets a surface) has a low contact angle, and a surface that is hard to wet (liquid that is hard to wet a surface) has a high contact angle.

● オルフィンの一般的な使用方法General Usage of OLFINE

● 必ず使用前によく撹拌し、均一であることを確認してからご使用下さい。Please always be sure to confi rm that product is well agitated and uniform before use.

● 特に低温で保管した場合、製品が固化していることがあります。その場合は30～40℃程度の湯浴で溶解させ、均一になるようよく撹拌して下さい。Especially when stored in low temperatures, the product solidifi es in some cases. In that case, please dissolve the product in a hot water bath at a temperature of approximately 30℃ to 40℃ and agitate well so that it is uniform.

● 効果が出る添加量は一般的に有効成分換算で0.1%～1%程度ですが、溶剤や微粒子などが存在する系では更に添加量を増やして下さい。Generally, the additional amount with which eff ects are exhibited is approximately 0.1% to 1.0%; however, please further increase the additional amount in systems where solvents or fi ne particles are present.

● 添加時は、攪拌機等を使用して、少しずつ添加しながら、よく撹拌して下さい。Please thoroughly agitate the additional amount while adding the product a little at time with an agitator or the like.
