The new developer diagnostic application OFFBOARD DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION SYSTEM ENGINEERING has been implemented in order to maintain consistent use of the same tools, from vehicle development to service. This development tester should be used for component checks, commissioning and especially functional release. The SW version to be used should be agreed upon with the person responsible for the component or project.

Basic diagnostic functions (identification, coding,etc.) Measurement values (multilink operation, recording measurement values) Modification (multiple selection in UDS) Final control diagnosis (including parallel) Basic settings (including parallel) hex services Writing data strings Reading/writing memory cells Communication stop Control unit list (dynamic reloading, hierarchical displays etc.) Read and delete event memory for entire system Record the build status and transfer it to VDS Transmitting the adaptation/coding for individual ECUS and the entire vehicle Programming updates for entire vehicle Communication stop Transport mode Role mode Customer Service OBD with assigned data (Services 01, 04, 06, 09 and 0A) Engine group Parallel navigation via result view macros (with Jython v2.5.1) Scripting (running anti-theft protection GFS and SWAP scripts) Results report (emitted in xml and html) Trace function (diagnostic databus recording) Presets (setting up/accessing measurement/configuration settings) Support function (reporting problems to Support team) Equipment level check Download and comparison of VDS logs Customisation of user interface Online service interface for automation (multilink-compatible) Transferring equipment level reports to Carport Diagnosis via IP Multilink support on the macro and online interface Exchange and configuration of diagnostic interfaces Application and ODX data updates
