ХРИСТОС РОЖДАЄТЬСЯ!
СЛАВІТЕ ЙОГО!
January 2015
Christ is Born! Let us Glorify Him!
On behalf of the Kniahynia Ol’ha Ukrainian Women’s Association I wish to extend sincere greetings
to Archbishop Ilarion, Father Nicholas, their families and all active members and potential members
of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church during this festive season of the Nativity of Christ, the
New Year and Epiphany.
On the eve of the Nativity of Christ I encourage all Ukrainian Orthodox to celebrate with joy Різдво. Share this
holiday with family and friends. Inform your employer that January 7 is your Christmas Day and insist on it being a
Holy Day – attend service and be with your family.
Executive 2015 The Women held their annual meeting on
December 15. The executive for the coming year
is
President ................................. Dorothy Stachniak
1st Vice President ............... Mary Ann Palamarek
2nd
Vice President .................... Evelyn Krawchuk
Secretary ......................................... Mary Paltzat
Treasurer ..................................... Elaine Kluchka
Membership fees are $20.00 a year. Please pay
membership chairperson, Liz Maybroda before
the end of January.
We will continue to hold meetings every second
month. The President and the 1st Vice President
will take turns chairing the bi-monthly meetings.
The continued sustainability of this organization
does not lie on the shoulders of one or two
people. Every person who believes and has faith
in the Orthodox Church must take on a
responsibility to ensure that we can continue to
operate this church. We also must consider
doing things differently.
Next UWAC Meeting

A very special thank you to all the men and
women who gave up their personal time to help
make the Christmas Bazaar a success. We are all
working for the church and not for personal
gain. Your dedication to our parish is very
much appreciated.
