SCAD COMES TO ISCA AtAt a recent presentation, Kelley Lowe talked about the flexibility of programmes offered at Savannah College of Art and Design. The American college enjoys huge success in preparing students for a creativecreative career through its close industry links. Of her visit, Ms Lowe said, 'ISCA is home to spaces of innovation, exploration and works in progress. Ideas abound!'

TRICK OR TREAT

Students used their creative talents to great effect in preparing for a campus Halloween Party. The Common Room was transformed with fantastic decorations. BothBoth staff and students dressed up for the occasion in dramatic and original style. The evening was great fun and a real chance to relax during the busy first time at ISCA.

A CHANGE OF SCENERY

The spectacular Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, provided great inspiration for the launch of the new A Level project Inside Outside. Students spent three fun days at the Swanage Centre exploring andand recording the environment. The trip also included visits to Corfe Castle and Durlston Country Park. Students will build on this valuable primary research in order to develop their A Level work.

WINDSOR CASTLE

OnOn a crisp and sunny autumn day, English Language students visited Windsor Castle, the oldest official residence of Queen Elizabeth. The group viewed the opulent sights including the spectacular State Apartments and intricate Doll House. The purpose of the visit was to consolidate knowledge about British consolidate knowledge about British history, and to cover new vocabulary.
