Get the Lead Out and put some color in your life !! This is an art program that teaches color design and supports the therapeutic and meditative benefits of coloring. Don't go it alone, drop in! Supplies provided Thursdays at l 1:00.
Health Insurance Fair Questions about Medicare? Supplementals or Advantage Plans? Part D? Need a flu vac· cine? Come and meet Krista Harbacz, Albany County HllCAP Coordinator and benefit from this event she has organized. Health Insurance plan representatives will be on hand along with EPIC, St Peter's Cancer Screenings, Marra's Pharmacy will be administering the flu vaccine, and Interim Health will be screening blood pressures Thursday, October l 3th from l 2:30-2:30
Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (Open Enrollment) begins October 1 7th and will run through December 7th. 27th Annual Autumn Affair held by the Friends of the Cohoes Public Library will be held at and catered by Cohoes Senior Center !! Raffles, food, baskets and Sonny and Perlie!! Tickets are $28 and proceeds go to the Friends of the CPL Sunday, November 6th from l 2-4
HEAP, the Home Energy Assistance Program is back at Cohoes Senior Center come by to meet with a counselor Tuesday, November l 5th from 1-3:30 pm

The Cohoes Senior Center Membership Committee is holding our Annual Christmas Fair on December 8 & 9. Tables to sell your wares are available to rent, $15 for one table and $25 for two tables. If you are more of the mind to clean out your closets and under you bed, we are accepting donations (please no shoes or purses). Bring donations to the Cohoes Senior Center and for table rental, call Myrtle Stott at 235-2420.
The SilverT ops choir resumes regular rehearsals and scheduled outings on Tuesdays at 1 :00 pm. Interested in lending your voice to the choir? Call Hal Perry at 371-4894.
The next Membership meeting will be held at 10:30 am on October 26th. Plan to attend and hear more about the great things happening at your center. Bring your ideas for new events, trips, projects you would like to see here. Call the Center at 235-2420 if you have questions now that you need answered.

AARP Defensive Driving Classes
Defensive Driving classes have resumed for the 2016 year. Classes are held over two days each month from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The next classes are October 5 & 7 and November 16 & 18.
$20 for AARP members $25 for non-AARP members
AARP members must have their AARP membership card with them when they take the class. Make your check payable to AARP and mail it to the Cohoes Senior Center or bring your check by the Center at least two weeks before the scheduled class.
