August: • SMAC prototype installed – centralised infrastructure

for automating the recording of lectures in CERN conference rooms

• Consolidation on one event management tool: CDS Agenda->Indico migration started

• Webcast possible in Council Chamber and IT Auditorium in addition to Main Auditorium – Portable AV production+webcasting equipment purchased

videoconference equipement with CERN stores• start restructuring of the CERN Videoconference web

site. More documentation (FAQs…) will be added in the future

November: • New MCU service starts hosted by the Lyon IN2P3

centre de calcul. Collaboration between IN2P3, CNRS, INSERM and CERN – 2 Codian MCUs (total 52 ports) + 1 ISDN gateway
