    note the deadline for GCE Applied and vocational subjects including Applied Art and Design is 15 May2011

    The examination dates for GCSE and Entry Level Certificate in June 2011 can be found on a separate timetable.

    Starting times of examinations

    The published starting time of all examinations is either 9.00 am or 1.30 pm. Each examination must be taken on the day and at thetime shown on the timetable.

    Centres may change the starting time of an examination within the scheduled morning or afternoon session without notifying OCRbut candidates must start morning examinations no earlier than 8.30 am and by 9.30 am and afternoon examinations no earlier than1.00 pm and by 2.00 pm.

    Candidates with more than one examination in a session should take these consecutively. A supervised break may be givenbetween examinations taken consecutively, at the discretion of the centre. Centres may decide the order in which to conductexaminations for candidates taking more than one examination in a session.

    Leaving the examinationCandidates must remain under supervision until 10.00 am for morning examinations and until 2.30 pm for afternoon examinations.For examinations of less than one hours duration, the candidates must remain under supervision for a period equal to the durationof the examination after the published starting time shown on the timetable.

    Timetable deviationsIf you need to arrange overnight supervision, the forms do not need to be returned to OCR but must be completed and held inyour centre records. When a change is made to the published starting time of an examination, it is the responsibility of the centreto inform all candidates affected by the alteration.

    Interboard Examinations TimetableThe interboard examinations timetable contains dates for OCR, AQA, CCEA, Edexcel and WJEC examinations in GCSE, GCE,ELC, AEA and FSMQ. It is available via the OCR website www.ocr.org.uk , and can be used to search, collate, export and printtimetable information. Upon entering the OCR website select Exams Officers and then General Qualifications to reach the link to theInterboard Examinations Timetable.
