There is a very common problem facing all property
owners and owners of mobile homes, caravans, boats etc, and the problem is damp. Damp creates mould and unpleasant smells. If this affects you, you will know the scenario. You open up your villa, apartment, caravan, boat etc for the first time of the year, after being closed for the winter months and, phew, damp smells, mould, mildew, clothes that are musty, condensation...You open windows, open doors, turn the power back on and still the smell lingers for days, if not weeksThe solution is surprisingly simple, you just need some ventilation. The Solblo solarvent is a unique ventilation kit, designed to provide ventilation and operates using a tiny solar panel to power the fan free of electricity. It has the capacity to move 45 cubic metres of air per hour (which is a large space in terms of houses, apartments etc). The fan can either intake air or extract air via a 180 degree impellor swap around. The inlet vent is fitted with an insect gauze to keep those horrible mozzie’s and insects away. The solar panel is very small (160mm x 190mm) pre-wired with a 5 metre cable with push-in connectors to the fan and can be extended if required. Installation is simple. It requires a 72mm hole in the wall, then simply mount the solar panel in a southerly position, clip the cable and it’s all done.For a villa or town house we recommend the use of two unit’s - one for the intake of air and one for the extraction of air. Abres tu chalet, apartamento, caravana, barco etc. por primera vez del año, después de estar cerrado durante los meses de invierno y, puf, olores húmedos, moho, ropa huliendo muy mal, condensación...Y aunque abres ventanas, puertas y arrancas el motor, el olor persiste durante días, sino semanas.La solución es sorprendentemente simple, sólo necesitas una ventilación. El Solblo Solarvent es un kit de ventilación único, diseñado para mantener ventilación, que funciona con un pequeño panel solar que alimenta el ventilador sin electricidad. Tiene la capacidad de mover 45 metros cúbicos de aire por hora (que es un gran espacio en términos de casas, apartamentos, etc.). El ventilador puede aspirar o sacar el aire a través de un intercambio de rodete de 180 grados alrededor del extracto. La ventilación de entrada está equipada con una malla para que los mosquitos molestos e insectos no entren. El panel solar es muy pequeño (160 x 190 mm) precableado con un cable de 5 metros con conectores rápidos para el
ventilador, si es necesario se puede alargar. La instalación es simple. Se requiere un agujero de 72mm en la pared, montar el panel solar en una posición orientada al sur, conectar el cable y ya está todo hecho.Para una villa o casa de pueblo, recomendamos el uso de dos unidades - uno para la entrada de aire y uno para la extracción. Para un apartamento una sola unidad para la extracción de aire será suficiente. De-clutter: People collect an amazing quantity of junk. Consider this: if you haven’t used it in over a year, you probably don’t need it. If you don’t need it, why not donate it or throw it away? Remove all books from bookcases. Pack up those knick-knacks. Clean off everything on kitchen counters. Put essential items used daily in a small box that can be stored in a cupboard when not in use. Think of this process as a head-start on the packing you will eventually need to do anyway.Rent a storage unit. Almost every home shows better with less furniture. Remove pieces of furniture that block or hamper paths and walkways and put them in storage. Leave just enough furniture in each room to showcase the room’s purpose and plenty of room to move around. Si no lo váis a necesitar, ¿Por queė no donarlo o deshacerte de ellos? Quiten a todos los libros de las estanterías. Quiten también a aquellos adornitos. Limpianlo todo de las encimeras de la cocina. Dentro de una caja guarden a los utensilios diarios, etc... y guarden a la caja en un armario cuando no se está ultilizando. Piensen que este proceso de ordenación es un adelantacion en guardar las cosas para mudarse porque al fin y al cabo se tendrá que hacer.Alquilen a un almacén: A casi todos los hogares se les ve mejor con menos cantidad de muebles que bloquean los caminos para poder moverse en la casa y metédlos todos en el almacén alquilado. Déjen solamente a la cantidad suficiente de muebles en cada habitación para demostrar para quéė se utiliza cada habitación y dejen también a suficiente espacio para poder moverse. La Fortaleza is the medieval fortress and Alcazaba in Vélez-
Málaga, capital of the Axarquía region. Of course, as with many other places, I see the fortress towering above the town every time I pass by, but somehow never got around to visiting before now. La Fortaleza was in a bad state of repair for many years and, as a result, was not open to the general public – but that has now changed. Located on the highest point of the town, about 80 metres above sea level, the Alcazaba or Fortress was built during the 10th century under Moorish rule, but achieved its greatest prominence during the 14th and 15th centuries, as one of the most important strongholds of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. It’s worth remembering that the River Vélez was once much deeper and wider than it is now, and that the valley formed part of a trade route through the Zafarraya Pass from Granada to Málaga, making the town strategically significant. Vélez-Málaga may not have been a very large town, but it was well fortified and defended by a solid set of walls, some of which can still be seen.As with many Spanish monuments, the directional signage to La Fortaleza leaves a lot to be desired, but if you head for the Fernando Hierro Sports Stadium in Vélez-Málaga and take the Arenas road, following signs for La Iglesia de Santa Maria/Museo de la Santa Semana, you will find the Alcazaba (La Fortaleza) just before the church.The restored Tower of the Alcazaba (the fortress La Fortaleza) is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 1pm
La Fortaleza es un castillo medieval en Vélez-Málaga,
capital de la comarca Axarquía. Por supuesto, como con muchos otros lugares, veo la fortaleza dominando la ciudad cada vez que voy de paso, pero por algún motivo nunca la he visitado con anterioridad. La Fortaleza ha estado en mal estado de conservación durante muchos años y, en consecuencia, no estaba abierto al público – aunque eso ha cambiado ahora. Emplazada en el punto más alto de la ciudad, a unos 80 metros sobre el nivel del mar, la Alcazaba o Fortaleza fue construida en el siglo X bajo la dominación musulmana, pero alcanzó su mayor protagonismo durante los siglos XIV y XV, como una de las alcazabas más
importantes del reino nazarí de Granada. Vale la pena mencionar que el río Vélez fue mucho más profundo y más ancho de lo que es ahora, y que el valle formó parte de una ruta comercial que cruzaba el paso de Zafarraya desde Granada a Málaga, haciendo la ciudad estratégicamente importante. Pueda que Vélez-Málaga no fuera una ciudad muy grande, pero estaba bien fortificada y defendida por un sólido conjunto de muros, algunos de los cuales se pueden ver aún.Como en muchos monumentos españoles, la señalización para llegar a La Fortaleza deja mucho que desear, pero vas en dirección hacia el estadio de deportes de Fernando Hierro en Vélez-Málaga y sigues por la carretera de Arenas, siguiendo las indicaciones hacia La Iglesia de Santa María/Museo de la Santa Semana, encontrarás la Alcazaba (La Fortaleza) justo antes de la iglesia.La torre restaurada de la Alcazaba (de La Fortaleza) está abierta todos los sábados y domingos de 10:00 – 13:00 y ofrece espectaculares vistas sobre la ciudad y el campo circundante de la Axarquía. The Alpha Romeo 4C is something for fans of the
flamboyant Italian brand to get excited about. Built in limited numbers, this mid-engined scaled-down supercar packs a 237bhp, 1.75 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a twin-clutch automatic gearbox, but weighs less than 900kg thanks to a carbon-fibre chassis. Better still, it looks fantastic.As our journalist meeting comes to a close, I secure the keys to the lightest 4C available on the line up waiting outside for us. With cloth seats, the smaller 17 inch front, 18 inch rear tyres and the racing exhaust, I am pleased with my choice and I am keen to set off through the town and out onto the open road. As we set off through the town centre, the sound of the exhaust bouncing off buildings and the car’s eagerness to slip past, around, and between the lumbering
commuters has me grinning like an idiot and fearing for my license, should I come across the local traffic control officers.As we leave town and head for the country, the fun quotient quadruples. After about 5 miles of flailing away at the unassisted steering, my arms are burning a bit. Steering effort at speed isn’t particularly high (it’s perfect in fact), but the repeated arm-over-arm work required keeps the muscles busy. It’s the most entertaining upper-body workout i’ve ever had that’s for sure. The car turns in eagerly and tightens its line when the throttle closes, but it resists rear slide behaviour pretty strongly and requires a firm hand.In terms of performance, we enjoyed a blistering 4.3 second dash to 60mph en route to a 12.8 second 108.8mph quarter-mile - very impressive. Braking from 60mph looks a little less impressive on paper, at 113 feet, but I certainly can’t find any fault

with the feel or fade resistance of the four wheel vented discs.The seats provide ample lateral support without feeling cramped and a wide, flat footwell allows the passenger to brace sufficiently for high speed cornering without handholds. There are a couple of small criticisms. Oddly there’s no glovebox, or armrests, the rear-view mirror is almost worthless and some would say the cup holders are too small. That aside, this is truly a fantastic car and honestly, if you are in the market for a car of this nature, gloveboxes, armrests, small rear view mirrors and cupholders are not really a consideration are they?

Con asientos de tela, un neumático delantero de 17 pulgadas y trasero de 18, y un escape deportivo, estoy muy satisfecho con mi elección, deseoso de cruzar la ciudad y salir a la carretera. Al ponernos en marcha por el centro de la ciudad, el sonido del escape rebotando en los edificios y la capacidad del coche para deslizarse entre el pesado y torpe tráfico me arranca una sonrisa nerviosa mientras temo por mi carné si me topo con la policía local.Tan pronto salimos de la ciudad y nos dirigimos hacia carreteras abiertas, la diversión aumenta exponencialmente. Tras algo menos de diez kilómetros de
manejar la dirección sin asistencia, mis brazos empiezan a resentirse. La esfuerzo sobre el volante a cierta velocidad no es particularmente alto (es perfecto, de hecho), pero el continuo trabajo de cruzar brazo sobre brazo me mantiene los músculos ocupados. Es el entrenamiento de la parte superior del cuerpo más entretenido que he hecho, eso seguro. El coche retiene y ajusta su marcha cuando la válvula de mariposa se cierra, pero requiere una mano firme.En términos de rendimiento, disfrutamos de una feroz aceleración de 0 a 100km/h en 4,3 segundos, o 12,8 segundos hasta los 175km/h para el cuarto de milla - realmente impresionante. Whether you are on holiday, you live in the city centre, on the outskirts or are only visiting for a day or night, there is so much to do, see and enjoy in Málaga, so lets get started.Pompidou Art Center: The world famous gallery Centre Pompidou opens in Malaga. Without doubt the Pompidou art center in Paris is one of the greatest homes of twentieth century art. In line with the arresting appearance of the Pompidou in Paris the Malaga collection is housed in the large glass cube, built with a cultural purpose in mind and which is situated at the corner which joins Muelle Uno and Muelle Dos of Malaga’s newly renovated port. The new Malaga Pop-Up museum houses a fine selection of its French mother. Until now the only offshoot of the Pompidou Centre has been in northern France, the Pompidou-Metz. The Malaga
collection is the first branch outside France and substantially adds to the city’s already impressive range of art galleries. The mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, says that the agreement which will last five years with the option of a further five years, is “great news for cultural Malaga, tourist Malaga and technological Malaga”.The Málaga centre holds some 80

Sin duda, el Centro Pompidou de París es uno de los mayores centros de arte del siglo XX. En línea con la apariencia impresionante del Pompidou en París, la colección de Málaga se encuentra en el gran cubo de cristal, construido con un propósito cultural, que está situado en la esquina que une el Muelle Uno y el Muelle Dos del recién reformado puerto de Málaga. As we all know the Easter festival is a tribute to the
resurrection of Jesus Christ. The holy week consisting of many important events that lead up to Easter. The Holy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper, when the Christ prophecised his end and his resurrection and distributed bread and wine as his flesh and blood, respectively. The auspicious day of Good Friday commemorates the day of Crucifixion of Christ, and the Holy Week culminates with Easter Sunday, which is celebrated as the day of his Resurrection. It is a time to shake off winter and once again venture out into the great outdoors to celebrate life in it’s early bloom.
