Effective on January 01, 2010, the revised rules show some significant changes to requirements with regard to

fees. lease review the following sections and a!!ly them to your current !rocedures:

"ection #$%1&$&0' ()* + he authority having -urisdiction shall issue written !ermits, !erform !lan reviews and

conduct ins!ections for manufactured homes. ) !ermit shall not e valid unless the !ermit is in writing and the

non&refundale ins!ection fees and final /ommission ins!ection seal has een !aid at the time of the a!!lication

for a !ermit. he cost of the !ermit is equal to the cost of ins!ections and the / seal. 3hen you !ay for

ins!ections, you are !aying for the !ermit and vice&versa. ayment of the ins!ections and !ermit are

nonrefundale. nce an / final seal is !aid for and not used or !laced on a home for any reason, it must

e returned to the commission, with the word 4aandoned5 on the face of the seal in !ermanent in6.

"ection #$%1&$&0' (7* (1* + ) !ermit shall not e valid until all fees as set forth in !aragra!h ()* of this Rule

have een !aid. 8or shall an amendment to a !ermit e released until the additional fee, if any has een !aid.

n manufactured homes, electrical, gas, mechanical and !luming system installation fees for each !ermit ty!e

shall e !aid in accordance with the schedule of the commission and9or the authority having -urisdiction.

"ection #$%1&$&0' (7* (2* + f the installation of a manufactured home has commenced or een com!leted !rior

to the a!!lication of a !ermit y the authority having -urisdiction, the authority having -urisdiction may assess

an additional fee not to e;ceed the actual cost to determine com!liance and in no case shall e;ceed one and

onehalf times the !ermit fee and ins!ection fees. A mandatory late permit charge of $50.00 must be paid to

the Ohio Manufactured Homes Commission at the time of permit issuance. This shall be paid by a

separate payment and the check must be made payable to Treasure ! "tate of Ohio#.
