total cost for each item of work

On behalf of the TATA Education & Development Trust, Mumbai, the Bay of Bengal Programme

Inter-Governmental Organisation (BOBP-IGO) is issuing this Tender Notice.

Description of Work: To upgrade the existing fish packing unit of M/s R P N Sea Food (Aurofish),

located at No.47, Pachaivazhiamman Koil Sreet, Vaithikuppam, Puducherry- 605 012 into a Fresh

Tuna Packing Unit. Basically, the upgradation work to be carried out in the unit includes, i)

construction of RCC pillars to hold the proposed leant roof, ii) construction of a new fish receiving

area, compound wall, etc. in the damaged portion of the backyard of the unit, iii) upgradation of the

existing rooms for hygienic handling, packing, and storage of tuna, and iv) providing other necessary

infrastructure (water supply, hand and foot wash facilities, adequate lighting, toilet, etc.) for hygienic

handling of fish and for personnel hygiene. Complete set of designs and drawings with all the details

of the construction are enclosed for reference.

Submission of quotes: The quotes should be submitted in the prescribed format. The tender format

with details of estimated quantities of work with specifications is attached. Please quote your lowest

rate per unit of work and the total cost for each item of work (against the estimated quantities) in

the respective columns given in the format. Each page of the tender should be signed by the

tenderer. Similarly, any corrections in the pages should also be signed by the tenderer.

The Tender should be submitted to the Tender inviting authority BOBP-IGO) as given below in a

sealed envelope on or before 1500 hours, 22 December 2017.

The tenders will be opened at the office of the BOBP-IGO at 1500 hours on 22 December 2017 for

making recommendations to TATA Trust. The final decision regarding the work, payment and

selection of contractor lies with the TATA Trust and the BOBP-IGO is having no role beyond

facilitating the process.

The tender should submit necessary documents as a proof of their eligibility (experience having

done the civil works, each worth 15-20 lakhs, registration number, etc.) to undertake such work.
