Wetter 2010 little effect
• Once crop is established (knee high) visual difference in mid range pH (4.5-5.0) were reduced. Only top 4-6 inches of the soil profile was acidified.
•Heading was delayed by as much as 7 days in low pH plots.•Residual weed control negatively effected by acidity.•Visually, heat and drought tolerance reduced by acidity.
