• Over the duration of this project you will create a series of first hand observed drawings.

• Develop Techniques that will enable you to communicate what you see.

• Represent 3d objects in 2d form.

• Experiment with creative and imaginative ways to draw.

Key words and Praises • Tone = light and dark

• Tonal Range = the difference between light and dark

• Crosshatching = lines crossing each other in order to add tone

• Stippling = dots made with a pencil

• Contour hatching = lines following the shape of a depicted object.
