i. Sketch/draw a true size and shape of a selected face

parallel to the frontal plane;

ii. Extrude that surface to a required depth along the

receding axis.

Note: For a complex shaped object, the above processes

must be repeated until all features are sketched/drawn.

• The most descriptive surface should be parallel to the

frontal plane;

• The longest measurement should usually be placed along

the width direction;

• Circular features should be parallel to the frontal plane.
