distribution and signal connection externally through the connecting

terminal bar in the front of the system.

Multiple downstream ports and one or multiple upstream port

can be grouped into a Smart VLAN.

The system creates internal mapping between the upstream

port and downstream ports.

The MUX VLAN is applied in the occasions where different

subscribers need be differentiated by different VLAN ID.

Super VLAN

A Super VLAN comprises multiple Sub-VLANs.

All of the Sub-VLANs share one common Layer 3 interface as the

gateway.

Greatly saving IP segment resources.

Smart VLANs, MUX VLANs or Standard VLANs can act as Sub-

VLAN.

Sub-VLANs can contain any port or not.


QinQ VLAN

In QinQ VLAN application, the packets are transmitted in the

backbone network with two 802.1Q tags: a public VLAN tag and a

private VLAN tag.
