Oberschule Weyhausen The main building

trees. So on hot summer days a

little shadow is provided.

The school – seen from its front in autumn – was built in 1976. Since then it has hosted three different types of schools – due to political influence in educational systems.

Our secretary Heide Schulz is the “soul“ of the running system. Without her the „normal chaos“ would even be bigger. Two computers help her to survive all kinds of organising.

Copying Texts – What an invention

Can you imagine how school worked without copying and printing texts, worksheets, tests, and …….. . Those days must have been like stoneage!

42 teachers (always busy – as you can see)

In addition to our three computer rooms we received a smart board (fully electronic) last year. We can work with it very creatively.

Starting within the next months we will have to live among lots of construction work. So our cafeteria is a temporary one until the new one will be ready.

From his office in this modern building the mayor rules the community – and our school is a part of it.

Comeniusproject 2008-2014

In the past we took part in two projects before. Here the teachers met in Cyprus in 2013.
