June 1 ‐ Depart USA

June 2 ‐ Arrive in Tel AvivYou will be welcomed at the Tel Aviv airport by our representativeand transferred to your hotel to enjoy dinner before retiring for thenight.

June 3 ‐ Sea of Galilee dayTravel to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee.Visit the synagogue which stands on the site where Jesus taught.With Bible in hand, cross the waters of the Sea of Galilee. Along theway, participate in a special onboard worship service. At KibbutzNof Ginnosar, you’ll learn about the “Ancient Boat”, a rare exampleof the kind of boat in which Jesus would have sailed. Travel to theMount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached to the people (Matt. 5‐7). At Tabgha, the traditional location for the calling of the disciplesand the feeding of the 5,000, you’ll visit the Church of the Fish andthe Loaves (Luke 9:10‐17). Visit the Chapel of the Primacy wherethree times Peter professed his devotion to the risen Christ (John21). At the River Jordan, remember your baptism in the YardenitBaptismal Site.

June 4 ‐ Nazareth, Megiddo, CaesareaThis morning journey to Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home (Matthew2: 23). Visit the Church of the Annunciation where the Virgin Marylearned she was with child. This afternoon explore Caesarea, acenter of the early Christians where an angel visited Cornelius, thefirst Gentile believer (Acts 10), and where Paul was imprisoned fortwo years before appealing to Caesar.

June 5 ‐ Bethlehem and JerusalemIn Bethlehem, visit the cave revered as Jesus’ birthplace and see theChurch of the Nativity constructed over the site (Matt. 1: 18‐25, Luke2:1‐7). Gaze out over Shepherds’ Field before returning to Jerusalem.Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane and envision the scenes of thenight before Jesus’ crucifixion (Matt. 26: 36 ‐ 44). Continue to MountZion to visit the House of the High Priest Caiaphas, where Jesus wasquestioned the night of His betrayal (Matt. 26: 57). Meditate on theevents of the Last Supper as you visit the traditional location of theUpper Room (Mark 14: 12‐26)

June 6 ‐ Qumran, Dead Sea, Jericho, JerusalemContinue to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discoveredin 1947. Take a dip in the salt and mineral laden waters of the DeadSea. As you stop in Jericho to view the ruins of the city conqueredby Joshua (Josh. 6: 1, 2, 20), in the distance you can also see thetraditional site of the Temptation of Jesus (Matt. 4:1‐11). End yourday with a group picture taken from the Mount of Olives, whereJesus ascended into heaven (Acts 1: 9‐12).

June 7 ‐ JerusalemWalk the Cardo, the ancient main street of the Old City. Exploreancient Jerusalem at the Teaching Steps and the Western Wall. viewthe Pool of Bethesda where Jesus performed the Sabbath miracle(John 5: 1‐31). Sing a hymn in the Church of St. Anne and experienceits rich acoustics. Visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress, where Jesusappeared before Pontius Pilate (Luke 23:1), and follow in Christ’ssteps on the Via Dolorosa ("the Way of the Cross"). At the Churchof the Holy Sepulchre, take time to reflect on His sacrificial love.

June 8 ‐ Fly to Munich. Transfer to Alpine VillageDepart Tel Aviv and arrive in Munich where you will be met by ourlocal representatives. Continue to your alpine hotel for your fivenight stay.

Since 1634, the most famous Passion Play in the world has takenplace in Oberammergau. The tradition, maintained and experiencedalmost without interruption for over 380 years, of putting on theplay about the suffering, death and resurrection of Christ every tenyears, will be continued for the 42nd time in 2020. It is regarded asthe most important Passion Play in the world. The village at the edgeof the Bavarian Alps expects approximately 500,000 visitors for thepassion play, over half of which will be international guests. A speciallaw is in effect to insure that all actors of the world's largest amateurdramatic performance come from the village. All participants, fromactors playing the big speaking parts such as Jesus, Mary or Judas,through members of the choir, orchestra members, firemen andushers, must have been born in Oberammergau or lived there for atleast 20 years. Over 2,000 Oberammergau villagers will participatein the 2020 Passion Play.

Oberammergau Play HistoryJune 9 ‐ Castle and Churches DayToday is a full day of photographic wonders. You will visit the beautifulAbbey of Ettal and the picture‐perfect Church in the Meadow at Wies.You will tour the magnificent Castle of Linderhof, Mad King Ludwig’smain residence. This small royal residence is a delightful fantasy homefor any crazy king or up‐and‐coming mogul.

June 10 ‐ SalzburgEnjoy a full day musical adventure as you explore the city of Mozart’sbirth, Salzburg. You’ll visit the Cathedral and famous Horse Fountain.You’ll view Hellbrunn Castle, Mirabell Palace and ‐‐ from across the river‐‐ see Leopoldskron Palace, which is famous as the film location for “TheSound of Music".

June 11 ‐ Oberammergau Passion Play After the Black Plague that was rampant in Europe left their smallvillage, the grateful people of Oberammergau promised God that theywould show their gratitude by putting on a Passion Play. Over 380 yearslater you will get to enjoy this one‐of‐a‐kind, six hour musical anddramatic performance. You will have reserved seats, a guided tour ofthe town and motorcoach transfers to and from the play’s theater.Dinner is included in Oberammergau tonight.

June 12 ‐ InnsbruckThe capital of Austria’s Tyrol region, Innsbruck is famous as the site oftwo winter Olympics. Follow your guide on your half‐day, morning tourthrough the quaint medieval streets of Old Town to the sparklingGolden Roof. The glittering sloping roof has been an opulent landmarksince the 15th‐century. You’ll view Maria Theresa’s Imperial Palace, theTriumphal Arch and visit the Hofkirche. Plus, you’ll have time to explorethe medieval city on your own.
