When Barack Obama signs the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty late this month, the force ofhis signature alone could suffice to nullify the 2nd Amendment rights of the American people.How is this possible if a 2/3rds vote by the Senate that is, constitutionally mandatedratification is required before the United States may become a legal party to any treaty?

Interested Americans have been told that the Arms Trade Treaty will regulate the internationaltrade of conventional weapons, the purported goal being prevention of arms transfers torogue or terrorist states. Naturally, one would think regulations intended only to manage andrestrict the trade of weapons to dangerous, warlike or terror-supporting countries couldnt

possibly threaten the constitutionally protected right of American citizens to keep and beararms.

However, in order to prevent the accumulation and export of possible contraband weapons,the Treaty mandates creation of a global arms catalogue an international registry detailing theexistence, history and ownership records of all conventional weapons. Every sale, everytransfer of a weapon within the borders of the United States would be contained in thisregistry. The left have dreamed of such a national gun registry for decades and this wouldgive it to them.

How could the gun-grabbing Obama Regime impose this clearly anti-2nd Amendment, Treaty-

mandated arms registration scheme on the American people without the Senate first giving itsadvice and consent?

When a nation signs a treaty it is obligated to refrain from actions that would defeat theobject and purpose of the treaty until such time as it makes clear its intent not to become aparty to the treaty. (1) This is language from Article 18 of the Vienna Convention on the Lawof Treaties. Adopted in 1969, 111 nations have ratified the Vienna Convention, a treaty whichhas become known as the Treaty of Treaties and is widely recognized as theauthoritative guide vis--vis the formation and effects of treaties. Many versed in international law argue that the object and purpose language of the ViennaConvention means that a nation that has signed a treaty is prohibited either from violatingthe treaty altogether or from violating the treatys core or important provisions. (1) Althoughthe United Nations have taken great pains to make certain that no specific Treaty languagehas made its way to the American public, a Spanish representatives made clear his ownobject and purpose when he said the UN will be happy to honestly contribute to reducetheir number (weapons), and to regulate buying and sell of arms If this is what the completedTreaty hopes to achieve and we can bet it will be Barack Obama will have signed onto themost anti-gun rights document in the nations history. (3)

After he has signed the Treaty, Obama could use the object and purpose language of theVienna Convention as an excuse to strictly adhere to all provisions contained in the ArmsTreaty itself! That could include any and all United Nations mandates for the registration ofguns, the licensing of owners, the regulation of sales, transport or usage anything! Needlessto say, such a scheme would remain Obamas little secret until he has won the Novemberelection.

There can be no doubt that a re-elected Barack Hussein Obama would attempt to impose bymeans of executive fiat the unconstitutional terms of the unratified Arms Trade Treaty on theAmerican public. After all, why not, as a cowardly congress has already permitted him everymanner of abuse of power.

Both the Nazis and Communist Party members were exempt from these guns bans.Now its our federal government that is exempt from the laws they place on the public they aremandated to serve.

After the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, Obama and his Marxist minions beganwringing their hands decrying those evil assault weapons, while quietly ordering7000 AR-15sfor the Department of Homeland Security. In order to exempt themselves from the laws theywant to foist on the American people, the AR-15s are being referred to as personal defenseweapons.

But what is really shocking is the number of bullets the federal government is stockpiling.The Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled a staggering amount of ammunition twobillion rounds, most of it the hollow point, armor-piercing variety, enough to kill everyAmerican man, woman, and child five times.

The DHS claims all these bullets are fortraining purposes.

And what are they using for targets?

The DHS has been stockpilingnon-traditional gun targets,portraying everyday Americansdefending themselves, even purchasing targets of a small child with a handgun. The ATF, withfond memories of the Ruby Ridge massacre, is also getting in the act with a target depicting awoman protecting her unborn child.

But what is good for the government apparently is not good for the public

The Veterans Administration is moving to disarm so-called incompetent veterans,sendingout thousands of letterswith the following:

A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, ortransporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, youmay be fined, imprisoned, or both

Of course, the letter leaves open as to what incompetency entails. Military veteranstraditionally are liberty-loving conservatives. This incompetency may be the governmentsview that veterans have a predilection for becoming domestic terrorists.

A little known sub-department within the DHS called the National Consortium for the Study ofTerrorism and Responses to Terrorism START, for short published Hot Spots of Terrorismand Other Crimes in the United States. Who should we be worried about, per START? Thosewho are reverent of individual liberty. Those who are suspicious of centralized federalauthority. Those who believe there is a grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personalliberty.

Sounds like the basis for the Obama administration to take out veterans, Tea Party members,and anyone who holds conservative values. Anyone who believes the Constitution of theUnited States is the highest law in the land.

Everyday conservative Americans are becoming Public Enemy Number One of the ObamaAdministration.

And enemies need to be disarmed

The Trojan Horse of the Obama administrations gun grab, however, is the so-calleduniversal background check. The universal background check is nothing more than anational gun registry. What do we know about national gun registries throughout history?Both the Communists and Nazis used the ruse of a national gun registry as a precursor togunconfiscation.

And that is exactly what is coming

The NRAuncovered a secretDOJ memocalling for a national gun registration leading toconfiscation.

Then the only ones who will have guns will be Obama and his rogue government thugs.Hold on to your guns, America.
