    n O.B. is a field of study that investigates the impact that

    individuals , groups and structures have on behaviorwithin organizations for the purpose of applying suchknowledge towards improving an organizationseffectiveness.

    n O.B. is the study and understanding of individual and groupbehavior, patterns of structure in order to help improveorganizational performance and effectiveness.

    O.B. is one of the most complex and perhaps leastunderstood academic elements of modern generalmanagement, but since it concerns the behaviour ofpeople within organizations it is also one of the mostcentral- its concern with individual and group patterns ofbehaviour makes it an essential element in dealing withthe complex behavioral issues thrown up in the modern
