    We will be making some design 'anges. Pete Culler made is oars out of + in' &lanks glued u&to te reuired ti'kness- we will be using */ roug lumber and gluing u& to get te 'orre't widt. )oim&roe balan'e, we will moe te end of te ta&er for te loom from te edge of te andle to a &oint12" from te andle. )is will add more weigt on te andle side of te oars. ou 'an remoe tise%tra weigt if (ou dont like it. 3lso if (ou need to, (ou 'an also sorten te oar b( 'utting newandles in tis area.

    4nless (ou made &reious arraignments, we will be making te oars out of 3laskan ellow Cedar.#ars 'an also be made out of Douglas 5ir, 3s, 6&ru'e and Western Red Cedar. 3s will be ea(and take all te abuse (ou 'an trow at it. Western Red Cedar will be ligter tan te oter 'oi'esbut it wont take an( abuse at all.
