PARKS, Danielle Anne- Passed away at home 31 July 2007 surrounded by family and dear friends. Danielle was 41 years old. Danielle was an Associate Professor of Classics at Brock University, a dedicated archaeologist who was pas-sionate about her research and teaching, and deeply interested in the success of her students. She set high standards for herself and for all whom she encoun-tered. During her graduate studies, Danielle took part in an excavation in Cyprus. She returned to Cyprus annually, and lived there two full years. It became her second home, and her friends there became her second family. Daniel le’s most recent trip was a heartwarming return in May of this year. During her 2 Ωyear battle with Leukemia, she continued to be active at Brock in teaching and service, in the establishment of the new Masters Programme in Classics, and maintained her involvement in confer-ences, research and publishing. She never lost her zeal for life. Danielle will be sadly missed by her husband William Meredith, her parents Michael and Linda; her brothers Christopher and Matthew, William’s parents Roger and Jean, her students and colleagues at Brock University, and by her friends and col leagues in Cyprus and around the world. The family would like to thank the dedicated and compassionate team of doctors, nurses and medical profes-sionals at McMaster University Medical Centre who provided world class care for Daniel le throughout her i l lness. COLEMAN, Barbara Jane Alice (nee Creighton)- lost her courageous battle with cancer on August 12th, 2007 in her 68th year. Barbara will be sadly missed by her loving husband John, married 48 years, and her children and grandchil-dren. She was a caring and devoted Mom to Judi, Tracey and Susan. An awesome Grandma to Andre, Sarah and Krystina. Awonderful Mother-in-law to John, Rose and Nick. Barbara was the daughter of Alma and Arthur Creighton, beloved sister of Patricia, Robert and John. McGREGOR, G. Isabelle- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of G. Isabelle McGregor on August 10, 2007 after a brief but courageous battle with c a n c e r. D a u g h t e r o f R o y a n d B e l l e McGregor and sister to Kenneth Hugh McGregor, Isabelle was born on April 17, 1926 in Toronto. A lifetime resident of Oakville, Isabelle retired in 1981 after a long and product ive career wi th Bel l Canada. An avid golfer and skilled card player Isabelle enjoyed her retirement years and had recently found great pleas-ure living at Delmanor Glen Abbey. Isa-belle possessed a sharp wit and relaxed manner that served her well in life and nurtured new friendships with ease. She was a loving aunt to Anne McGregor Poliquin, her husband Richard and their children Joy, Claire and John, all of North Vancouver, cousin to Roy and Marg Kelley of Oakvil le and sister-in-law to Jane McGregor. Isabelle will be deeply missed by all who knew her and were touched by her kind spirit. She will remain in our hearts forever. The family offers special heartfel t thanks to Isabel le’s dearest friend, Barbara Knights, for her kindness, compassion, constant support and love. At Isabelle’s request there will be no service. Beloved wife of Mariano Rego Pacheco. Loving mother of Marta and her husband Dale and Mariano and his wife Kim. Loving grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Meghan, Jesse, Tay lor and Zachary. GREGG, Kathleen Morrow - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2007. She will be sadly missed by her sons Trevor (Nancy) and Paul (Mary) and her Grand Daughter Sarah.
