English The Lighthouse (Literacy Shed)

interview the Lighthouse Keeper and/or one of the villagers? What might you ask them? Write 5 questions.
2. Write the opening scene as a story. Remember to include descriptive words and phrases to add detail and interest. (You might like to read some of the examples from other children – follow the link above).
3. Write a conversation between the lighthouse keeper and one of the villagers. Remember what you already know about speech punctuation.
4. Imagine that you are the lighthouse keeper, write a diary entry explaining how you feel and why. What bothers you about the noise below? What do you think about the villagers? How do you feel when the light breaks? What about when the villagers come to help?

Hello Year 3. We hope that you are well and are managing to keep busy. We can’t quite believe that this is our last full week in school! Here are your home learning activities for week 6; remember, try to do a little bit of work if you can, but the most important thing is that you are safe, happy and healthy. Thank you for the
